Just wanted to put this out there, an athlete recruit (ATH) can play different positions without penalty. A speedy receiver athlete moved to running back is CRAZY in this game. A physical receiver can be really good at tight end as well.

When recruiting, any player with a red gem should be removed from your scouting board. Development is directly related to a players skill ceiling (the grey bars on rating) and every green gem will be impact or higher (usually higher)

That’s not necessarily true, this depends on your college as well. If you’re a 2-3 star college but have a red gem that’s a 4-5 stars they can still be better than a 3 star even if they have a red gem.

@@keys5595 I promise you it is man. I’ve done tons of testing on recruiting. Your recruiting hours are entirely too valuable. Wasting any hours on a red gem is not smart. Albeit the exceptions I’ll make are anyone with crazy intangibles like speed, strength, height, and weight. But you will almost ALWAYS find a recruit that’s better development and higher skill ceilings.

Not using MLB pruitt and also the freshman FS with 96 speed is a crime, I did my Miami rebuild and both of them ended up 98 ovr by junior year. Also not using the 98 speed HB is absolutely crazy, when I used him by his sophomore year he was Heisman and a 92 ovr with 99 speed, accel, and COD. Hands down best Rb in game, plus he’s a receiving back which in my opinion is the best archetype since they nerfed spin moves and jukes.

You don’t have to scout 5 star prospects. Go to their position if it’s one FS then you know he’s a good player. If it’s 3 MLB just choose one to go all in for.

Fun fact. There is a higher concentration of 3 and 4 star green gems than in 5 star. Using hours to scout 4 stars is usually more ‘profitable’

What I learned from my dynasty mode recruiting is that it’s a number game don’t recruit 35 ppl off the back have 2 to mayb 3 tiers of recruits meaning at the beginning of the year recruit all your 5 star or ones that are not interested in your school only have a certain amount of recruits to the amount of hours 800 hours is 20 recruit board send 40 hours per recruit after that you first wave should start signing by week 3 if done right after week 7 you should have half that signed or on verge to sign then start tier 2 recruit look for your needs an recruits that are open and interested I do math to maximize my hours to recruits or you will have an ass recruiting class start tier 3 after season for transfer an others that are interested the more recruits the more ya gon b spread out thin so multiply and divide math ain’t hard trust it work got top 5 recruiting class 2 yrs in row once I figured that out
