Thank you for the video. Thank you Hamilton and all the supporters of this channel. Salvia was the first “psychoactive” chemical I took besides prescribed medication from accidents. Before school down the street in my truck with friends, that feeling of being stretched, pulled backwards is very true, but I happened to go all the way the first time. Tree took on a matrix visual energy field and I remember being sucked through the truck into the tree and I remember ending up in outerspace looking at the earth with the top right quarter section missing and it was completely pixelated and multicolored. An Elf (played magic the gathering at the time, elf deck was my main deck so I find myself relatively attached to this being), basically was floating in space with me and he held out his hand and told me to follow him. I remember nodding and following the elf and getting pulled in by gravity, rocketed back into my body. First spiritual experience led me to you guessed it “Erowid” where I became very interested in all psychoactive substances and the meaning of hard and soft drugs disintegrated when I realized the difference between OxyContin up the nose is arguably more potent than street heroin a high schooler can typically come across. Same with adderall on high doses brings euphoria similar to methamphetamine (I know that there is a difference in chemical structure and that it is not a d/l isomer amphetamine salt mixture, strictly d-isomer if I have my Erowid knowledge stored in my head correctly). However I absolutely loved this podcast and I am appreciative for all the things both of you are doing to improve society.

It's so easy to legitimize that psilocybin is much healthier than alcohol, but that doesn't mean you should take shrooms every weekend, just like how antibiotics are going to help you at times, you shouldn't take them Everytime you have a minor illness.

Obviously, I'm very late in discovering this video, but it's great to have my two favorite sources of pharmacological information in discussion with one another. It's so important to focus on harm reduction and the reasons why certain substances have been stigmatized, the validation or lack thereof of such an action, and a realistic approach to a safe dosaging. Hamilton Morris is absolutely brilliant and exactly what we need--50 years ago.

It has always interested me looking into the science and reading peoples experiences. Im on a path to a degree in chemistry too and im hoping we can keep up with this insane rise of new barely tested compounds pharmaceutical and clandestine. Hopefully we can put all of these new compounds into their proper places and do some much needed research. It is amazing how far we've come though that shows and things like this are even possible

Eszopiclone 12mg gave me intense close eye visuals comparable in shape and appearance to lsd+weed but far more intense and concrete. I was pleased to hear your discussion of GABAergic hallucinogens. I think it’s an especially interesting and unique and not widely enough discussed unique pharmacological effect
@Duck-tm4bi6 жыл бұрын
How can there be visuals more intense than the ones provided by the combination of LSD and weed? When the LSD is dosed high enough the visuals get so complex that I am not able to comprehend them at all anymore. Like my normal visual field is just one atom and the visuals I perceive in this state are the whole universe.
@Duck-tm4bi6 жыл бұрын
Zopiclone gave me some interesting visuals too but nothing nearly as mind blowing as LSD with cannabis. I had a pretty scary sleep paralysis experience on it tho. I was sleeping in the old office of my grandfather who had passed away a few days earlier. I took some zopiclone and fell asleep quickly and happily but I awoke in the middle of the night hearing steps from my back that I had turned in the direction of the empty room. They came closer and closer and I was not able to move or scream. It was extremely terrifying but I realised I was in sleep paralysis shortly before the steps reached me and I was able to pull myself out of it. Considering this experience and the fact that low to medium doses of zopiclone combined with weed gave me visuals that don't make sense in three dimensional space I can imagine that high doses of eszopiclone can be very trippy.
