I believe that the reason that you don't have Iron Man or Captain America or those ones is because you're meant to mix in with the original MCU set (and even Homecoming and Guardians)

Sure. I just felt like they were pretty iconic to the saga and should be included. I kind of feel like maybe this should have been a big box expansion.

So let me get this straight, instead of re printing boxes that no one can get their hands on anymore, they do something that copies one of their worst selling expansions (Phase One Box, James Bond Boxes) and then re hash cards that have already have characters in other expansions that came out years ago? Who is this expansion for? No one buying this is going to pick it up stand alone and it alienates people who have purchased other expansions with its lazy artwork.
