I didnt even now this expansion was coming out until it was out. I was really disappointed that Red She-Hulk wasn't a playable hero in this expansion, but I'm glad we finally got She-Hulk. Hopefully for the next expansion I'll hear before hand and will have time to prep for it.

I have every expansion and all I do is repeatedly complain to upper deck about making a giant collector's box... :( but World War Hulk is in my top 3 expansions for the game. Both because there wasn't enough dedicated Hulk and for the worthwhile mechanics they added.

Hello Doug, first, thanks for buying my little games, this is much appreciated! I never intended at first to do more than one game (for Victory Point Games in 2008) as i was a complete newbie in game design. Heck i still consider myself mainly a long-time gamer that was lucky enough to have the opportunity to design a few games thew way I want to play the, LOL! Eventually that endeavour ballooned into a game series, gasp. This is only a hobby for me and i have very little time to make those darn games.But I’l try to forge ahead and make more of them as years go by. Initially I never had the intention to make any Pacific games, as the NR series was more of a “Whole Front” simulation affair, and not for gaming small battles (yet i did do the Battle for Crete); and I did not find WWII Pacific a good topic for my system as it was mainly a naval affair compared to the European Front, and the Chinese front mainly a more intense guerilla wars in some ways. In 2010 I had a Gentlemen in Australia that wanted to cover the Pacific with my system, but alas he threw up the towel a few months later fater realizing how much work wargame design really is… Plus I am not that found of that theatre of war and now very knowledgeable in it either. BUT… I will soon start a new game series. Titled: “No Retreat: WW2 Battles”. I plan to do one game per war year, with 3-4 games per box. One game with 1939 battles, one game with 1940 battles, etc… I intend to cover fun/important battles for each of those years, and I WILL cover the Pacific. Guadalcanal will be covered, either in the 1942 or 1943 game. I will also add others, like the Singapore Campaign and Tarawa. With 3-4 games per box, the choice will be hard of what battles to put in each game. I should have a list in a month or so. Those games will be super-quick to play and I want to keep the complexity level low. Same NR counters and mounted boards (two-sided), but the event cards will most probably be fare more tactical in their uses, albeit for guadalcanal I’ll use them to simulate some of the naval actions of that very interesting campaign. if you have other questions, or want to give a hand in testing/proofing, let me know. The making of the series will start early next year. i don’t knwo yet which year I’ll do first. Best regards. Second I would like to give Credit to the Great Job GMT did on your game. Absolutely beautiful. What i love about your games Low Counter counts and the use of the Event Cards. It makes for a fast setup and solo play. One of my favorite Classic Avalon Hill games is the Guadalcanal game which there are very few games of this subject and in that scale. Most Pacific games are the Carrier War. Not that I complaining. I just thought you system would be perfect for it. It didn't dawn on me about scale. No Retreat: WW2 Battles Wow I love it.
