You get a thumbs up for that dad joke alone. Made me laugh.

@The Discriminating gamer, if you love non-colectible horror themed card games you should definitelly have to check "Sorcerer the card game" from wise wizard games.
@TheDiscriminatingGamer2 жыл бұрын
Haven’t heard of that one. Thanks.

For the fans of the universe of Vampires looks like a great project; yet for the ones who just likes the PRG game that is not the best option.

Perhaps.

But will you be able to look at yourself in the mirror after winning this game?!?

Looks like a RAGE for me. Instead of hunting grounds you have the city.

Needs a lot more detail to why you "dislike" the game, not sure how this review helps the viewer at all really...you just say "you don't like it cause you don't like that type of game" haha, how does that help?

Thanks.

Very unimpressed and flat review if you ask me...

I played the RPG of Vampire the Masquerade and encountered Dracula but I had no weapons ..... .... .... .... so I started boxing him but lost as no-one can ever beat the count.

Good review… too bad this isn’t your kind of game. I’m a fan of this sort of thing. One correction, though… you keep calling this a collectible card game. Magic is a collectible card game (because only a certain number of each card, based on its rarity are printed, which drives the price for some of those rare cards up to extreme amounts… thus the collectible). This (and Android, Arkham Horror, etc) don’t have that restricted printing dynamic, and thus will never have cards selling for thousands of dollars each (like Magic, Pokémon and other CCGs). Just felt I had to clarify that, so people don’t think this game will be like those. Thanks for the review!

Thank you, sir. My bad.

What’s your favourite card game.? Any solo ones? Bill U.K. (88)years old.

There are a lot of deck builders I really like, especially the Legendary games from Upper Deck, most of which can be played solo. I also like the DC Comics Deck Building Game quite a bit. The Arkham Horror card game was pretty fun, again that's one you can play solo, too. Cody U.S. (7)years old.

If you want a good asymmetric 1 on 1 deck battler that is easy to collect new decks, Unmatched is great. Quite tactical on top of very simple rules. Dominion is a good engine construction deck builder, where you just buy sets when you want to change up the starting library. For a fun combination of dungeon crawling and deck building, try Clank! But the greatest, deep tactical, collectible TCG of all time... Decipher's Star Wars: CCG.. :-D

Thank you Gentlemen, much appreciate, will try to get them at my local games shop. Many thanks Mr Seven. Bill U.K. (88)

Cody's right about Legendary, that and MageKnight are my favorite solo games. Okay, probably Eldritch Horror and Galaxy Defenders too. Finding solo card games is kinda' tough. Since you're in the U.K. though Bill maybe you can find a copy of Dark Angels which is a solo card game version of Space Hulk. :) Mike (temporally irrelevant) :3

I've found it to be a watered-down version of Vampire: the Eternal Struggle card game and I was bummed that there were no credits to the original designer (Richard Garfield).
@TheDiscriminatingGamer3 жыл бұрын
I’m not familiar with that one.
@joemartin60783 жыл бұрын
because it's not designed by Richard Garfield. vtm rivals has some of the same mechanical backbones as vtes. they took ideas from vtes, but it's not vtes. pathfinder when it came out didn't credit the creators of dnd 3.5. because there were enough changes for it to be considered its own thing.

I really dislike collectable card games and similar aswell which is probably why i skipped this video originally... sorry lol. In saying that it's probably a game i would consider buying simply because i like the IP.
