Brilliant! Another well produced video. I really do appreciate the comparisons. The audio explanation is superb and I believe audiophiles will be appreciative of this. Please keep them coming at your leisure.

TDK still makes electronic components called inductors, which are made using iron particles, much like tape is. I've used TDK tapes for about 45 years myself, both audio and video. Love your content.

Super VHS HiFi was the absolute top of the chain in my humble, American opinion. back in the 90s and was all analog. It compared well to even metal oxide cassettes recorded from a Nak Dragon. In fact, I very occasionally still use some of those hi-fi tapes on a SVHS hi-fi player, even though I must hold my breath awaiting the machine's certain upcoming demise. BTW, you are completely killing it and are a most anticipated must watch! Bravo!

The packaging may say 1991, but TDK was making these in 2000 as I have a few purchased from that time period. The SVHS-C versions were being made into the 2000s as well. These were NOT cheap to buy at the time, at least $6-7 a piece still.

I want to know why being absurdly British implies using PAL; your reasonableness is driving me crazy!

I’m guessing you got a North American model, possibly from Canada.
