I was so excited when I saw that the TDS GTNxi 750 was coming to XP12. I agree it's a must have. Can't wait to try it in the Thranda PC-12. It's a great time for X-plane!!! Thanks again Q-8 for another informative video. I base 99% of my add-on purchases from your honest reviews.

Wonderful video. RAIM prediction is a process used to determine whether sufficient satellite signals will be available at a specific time and location to ensure the integrity of the GPS. So if you plan any GNSS approach (WAAS in US or EGNOS in EU for example) RAIM calculates if you will have at least 4 satellites in the area -/+ 15 minutes of your arrival time (you may need 5th depends of the approach type)

I love the way you set up turbulence in your videos. It's much more realistic and fun. Most people don't set up turbulence and in real life that rarely happens. Most of the time turbulence is always present and you have to fight to get the plane to the ground. For me that makes it more challenging and fun.

I ve heard that it could be used as stand alone too which allows to use the GPS on a second monitoring without to have to go through a windowed mode like what happens when poping out the GPS from the cockpit in XPLANE. Going in windowed mode generally drops the FPS significantly. Main reason why there is an advantage to have it as a standalone for cockpit builders. Can you confirm this too? Thanks.

Yes you can always have the trainer running on a second monitor. No problems there whatsoever.

Hello Q8. Tyvm for these vids. You really do add to the enjoyment of the sim. Do you still use RXP XP12 enhancer for the dark cockpits? Doesn’t seem to work any more? What do you use? Thanks again.
@Q8PilotАй бұрын
Currently not using anything just default XP12. I am on the latest v12.1.3.

question of the day is, will TDS GTN work even when an aircraft dev does not support it ? can it work with exisitng RXP GTN config ??
@Q8PilotАй бұрын
It will work as a standalone unit but support will be per aircraft.
@C42210Ай бұрын
I would really love If some dev works on a G1000 trainer for x plane, because G1000 of x plane is very poor
@conanmavericks4044Ай бұрын
Cows work on a fully custom g1000 with their da42 for x-plane.

What someone really needs to do is take the RSG G3000 and put it in something that isn't a $70000 home cockpit

So, $90 bucks product which is unfinished and is lacking many things. It’s so common now in the industry. Releasing unfinished full of bugs product. What the heck?
@Q8PilotАй бұрын
The product has no bugs at all and is finished for sure. The lack of modules such as failures, and maintenance makes the price a bit overwhelming. This is a finished product that shipped error free and delivers what is says it would deliver. In my opinion the price is too much to ask for what it delivers through when compared to other add ons at the same price range.
@tomaszlink447Ай бұрын
@ correction, I take the bugs away from this one. I was referring generally which includes others as well. Just look how many “hot fixes” are released one or two days after the release of any product nowadays.
