If you don’t have the final shape unlocked and you swap to prismatic in the first mission then leave you’ll have effectively NOTHING, no jump or running you can only shoot and that’s it(and maybe use a sparrow)

The in-universe reason for this is as the hunter was using the dodge ability, is when they lost their light, and they bumped their head against a wall and went into a coma. Then when they got their light back, their ghost was so embarrassed by how their guardian went down, it just didn't choose to revive them for years until the start of this video.

what ive found is that getting any kill with these white weapons gives you such a confidense boost that it magically boosts your skill 10fold. ive been doing this shit with the white khvostov and dead zone rifle a while back and it was just insane.

For people wondering if you can actually do this, no, not really. He has thousands of hours of experience in this game. Light level literally doesn’t even matter so the real point is if you’re addicted to this game, you can get ascendant with bad loot to start off. If you’re an ACTUAL new light this isn’t really possible unless you’re somehow the best player with no experience

No, the pathfinders always have both a PvE-only and PvP-only path available. On the other hand, a lot of the nodes require specific subclass verbs (Ignition kills, kills on Volatile targets, etc) or weapon types (precision sidearm kills, pulse rifle kills, etc) so that will likely be tricky.

Having taken a break from Destiny 2 and coming back after so much has changed, this is how I feel trying to play competitive. But I don't want to spend hours and hours grinding to get mid-tier loot, but I don't want to never play the game again. Skill issue I'm sure, but I already know I won't be able to get any of the god tier weapons and armor, and that I missed out on all the cool collabs and really nice looking pieces too... 😔

Honestly want a true challenge? Create a brand new account and build it back up from scratch... it really does hit differently when you do that... I started a nuzlocke character on a completely separate acc and man... every single time you complete something without dieing you really do get a shot of adrenaline to keep you going

I didn't know about the glaive bug. So did I understand what Cross said? He said Glaives weren't hitting as hard as they should have been, right? Im kinda surprised to hear they weren't doin enough dmg. I don't use glaives very often,but the solstice quests required me use one. I was playing on my arc Warlock & i was having so much fun with how well my build worked with a glaive. I used it for several more activities even though I had no bounties that called for it. I cant wait to see what i can do now that they're even better.

My personal view on this is that a good player that uses bad stuff is still a good player, whilst a bad player that uses good stuff is still a bad player. There are also moments in between where certain players are worse at using astonishing weapons like Ace of Spades, but excel at using other weapons that have a different feel to them. Everyone is good at something different at the end of the day, from Toaster to Telesto.. (Disclaimer: that doesn’t mean we won’t give people crap for using Toaster or stop making memes about Telesto.)

I never got into Destiny cuz it felt so confusing for a new player, especially cuz I wanted to do all the expansions to follow the story and then get a paywall slapped in the face was quite the turnoff but I tried to do some grinding and it never felt good to farm the game. Though the sidemodes were quite a lot of fun because the PvP modes seemed so easy to play (as I had backgrounds from playing Valorant and CS) but I never invested the time to learn (plus I only played the game for about a week) though one thing that confused me at first was the aim assist stat on weapons so I was hitting shots I shouldn't be hitting and it was difficult to adjust. Maybe playing warlock was also an issue lol I might try Destiny again and get into PvPing

This could also be an interesting challange if you may. Try to complete X without using any light or dark powers with 0 power. A human playthough if you may :P
