HOWEVER, pvp while in arc strider you can hold block and walk into a tornado and turn it against people. I won a trials match this way because people don’t know and sit there getting frozen by their own tornado

Yep they all used to have 3 variations with each super and then once 3.0 came out titans went down to 6 while the others had 7 they ruined fist of havoc and now they ruined bubble but essentially gave titans another solar variation in the form of a exotic armor piece which I think they could just get rid of pyrogale and make it a variant of the solar subclass

So i got bored I did the average score for each class S-tier being 6 points, A-tier being 5, and so on Divide the total points by the # of supers Warlocks had a score of 4.50 Hunters had a score of 4.09 And titans had a score of 3.66 Just wanted to share

The community needs to realize that a Warlock running Song of Flame with the right aspects on Solar, with No Hesitation hip-firing for restoration, gives you a better healing and damage boost than Well does. Bungie did just nerf Restoration x2 to x1 though on Physic though so...hmm.

Not to mention letting solar and kinetic weapon apply scorch. It lets gjallarhorn on its own set off ignitions with 2 rockets. When you factor in the rest of a team running Apex Predator your team easily sets off ignitions on cool down. Also the damage resistance for the super in PvE let you face tank most anything in the game which lets you make very clutch plays when doing content like GMs.

Song of flame lasts half as long and doesn't give hp regen, if you use no hesitation to make up for this than you're doing 0 dmg. Well of radiance even after the nerf is really really good

​@@richardwenner755 wow the new support super that's built for more offensive play is worse at keeping people alive because outside of the DR that's not the point. Who could have guessed? Bungie nerfed well because it has been the best in slot for warlocks for raids and other endgame content because it gave insane survivability and the best damage buff built into a subclass (without considering the broken ass exotics it had that deserved nerfs because they were obviously unbalanced) that you can give to everyone without giving up 1 guardians damage like you do with banner block. On top of that it's STILL better than bubble in 99% of scenarios. The point is well was nerfed to give other support supers room to breathe without absolute murdering it. It's just not absolutely free in pve and pvp anymore which it should have never been that free in the first place. But guess what, you'll still be bringing multiple warlocks because a well and a song of flame together can put in work in different scenarios and together but now warlocks without a spine don't have to feel like they're forced to switch to well when the rest of the raid team refuses to accept that they aren't pulling their own weight. Well still being usable doesn't mean Song of flame isn't useful during a dps phase.

​@@onyxserenity5190 lol ok, because your class totally doesn't have free overshields, the only non headshot requiring one shot kill melee in pvp, the only melee that can easily take people out of supers, the most annoying class ability that effectively shuts down a lane with a simple exotic allows the titan to shoot or snipe without any risk to themselves, you guys have essentially shatterdive with less setup on arc, numerous ways to become extremely hard to kill on arc with that shield, void with your other shield and stasis with that one exotic. You guys may suck in PvE mostly but you're still the most oppressive pain in the ass loaded with bs cheese class to face in PvP, hunters have plenty of damage sure but they lack a wide range of defensive options, meaning that as a warlock most of what a hunter does can be countered with a healing rift, assuming the rift can be deployed in the 3-5 business days worth of animation it takes before the hunter does something crazy.

as a titan main I think you were too kind to our supers, twilight is good-ish but not good enough to be S-tier that tracking just does whatever the hell it wants too sometimes so I would say A bladefurry is good for applicable bosses but at the end of the day its still another melee super Glacial Quake is too situational to be really used and most people hate it in PvP. Thunder crash is nothing without that exotic, same for burning maul expect it usually gets more use, both really are also situational which sucks. Bubble was publicly executed and sentinel shield with ursa furiosa takes a man out of the damage phase, the trade off for damage is not worth it sadly. fist of havoc is indeed a steaming pile of shite, hammer of sol is good for survivability and a great ranged super for PvP. we still need more one and dones for titan, give all classes a 2nd stasis and strand super and make sure titans are damage dealers at range, one and done too!

It really sucks, I love bubble, they made it so bad, they could tie blessing, armor and weapons with different aspects at least; there’s room for play like how they put knock out as a option or sunspots, they could be benefits that are placed with a build so you can play around with it and make helm still blind people and maybe have the old glass house effect of increasing the benefits or length of these effects.

It's hard to say how to make Stormtrance better. Outside of giving it an insanely fast cooldown, which probably still wouldn't really help. Maybe it should give some kind of buff to your allies? Something with ionic traces and amplify probably. Edit: Just wanted to add the two cents of my friend group and I, if a super needs an exotic to function (Chaos Reach with Geomags, Thudercrash with Cuirass, ect.) that exotics functionality should just be folded into the base super IMO. The exotic can then be made to do something else.

I say that conduction tines from the helmet should be rolled into the main super and the damage should be increased substantially so that it can easily melt things like stunned champions and majors. Make it more or less the best room clear super in the game.

Give it the same change they did to the Chain Lightning melee a while ago. While amplified you create a second chain that splits after the first target. Would let it deal double damage against a single target, which it needs, and then also improve its add clear functionality which is the main job of the super.

Maybe when you're Amplified, it increases the range of the lightning, how many enemies it can chain from and removes the ramp up needed to hit max damage and just gives it to you outright? Would at least stop you from just holding the attack to keep the damage up when moving from group to group and accelerating how fast the super drains as a result

Glacial quake is ass in pvp, especially with the recent changes. After the balance patch to right Beyond Light’s wrongs, it lost a lot of damage resistance and regaining a modicum of that lost damage resistance was relegated to whisper of chains…then the frost armor rework happened now we have one of the lowest DRs in the game unless we use an entire aspect (tectonic harvest) to get frost armor stacks. The “buffs” to stasis titan were hilariously backwards and nerfed them into oblivion. They need a close look into their kit to fix a lot of the unfair treatment the subclass is getting during broad adjustments…these adjustments are disproportionately destroying the behemoth kit

Here is me advocating for blade barrage: It is the fastest burst option for hunter where crit spot is hard to hit, and even when crits are accessible, a full stack star eater BB out damages both celestial and star eater goldie (but lower dps, since you can pre pop celestial) as long as you can hit most of the knifes. It does make it less viable on certain bosses like witness, but it is no slouch in pve. Also a side note, in GM content where your loadout is locked, star eater BB is a much more versatile option that can both burst champs and clear rooms, as well as giving you high uptime on your super. I do understand that much of this hinges on star eater, but if goldie is that much worse without celestial, I think this much is at least fair.

9:28 I was thinking about this a while back, and I came up with a spectral blades overhaul. So first, no more third person, switching to first person view, to really give that stalker vibe, also replace the twin blades with one void empowered knife, like in the subclass ability screen. Renaming the super to Spectral Wraith (or something better) Second, complete invisibility, all actions done while this super is active are completely silent in PVE, ads will no longer turn to your direction and start firing wildly if you need to get on to a ledge to get to your next target and muffled in PVP. Third, time for the more meaty stuff: Movement speed and jump height is greatly increased while in stealth mode. Additionally, all abilities do 100% more damage (20% more to weapons) and will 100% crit without having to trigger it's crit condition. Abilities: Passives: Stealth mode Increased ability regen. Grants true sight. Increases Lunge and Silent Knife damage and causes the next instance of these two to deal critical damage. Dealing critical damage weakens and suppresses the target (works for weapons too, but have to deal precision damage) Defeating enemies brings you back into stealth mode. It is possible to fire your weapons while in this mode, it's basically a void song of flame, but you can't really chain together it's abilities like song of flame for boss damage, instead it's boss damage will come from the smoke screens made by trappers ambush. Dodge: now intrinsically has vanishing step to go back into stealth mode. Has increased energy regeneration (Halves the cooldown, based on your own mobility) gains class ability energy after dealing damage (45% after draling damage) If trappers ambush is equipped, Dodging to enter stealth mode again will deploy a smoke screen around you, disorienting enemies for a short time and granting allies invisibility(5 seconds) Lunge: Melee button While in stealth mode, preform a long range dash at your target, teleporting behind and preforming a back stab and then a following it with a devastating slash, dealing damage to enemies around you and making them volatile. When not in stealth mode, just preform the back stab with shorter range, dealing critical damage. When in close range, preform a three hit combo with your knife, dealing increased damage the more debuffs are on the enemy. Silent knife: Grenade button Hurl your void knife infused with paracausality, when it hits an enemy, it'll cause that enemy to implode, pulling nearby enemies in, then explode with void damage, enemies hit by the implosion are made volatile and explode when killed. If the knife lands in the ground it does a larger, weaker implosion and releases a wide range corrosive smoke cloud (8 seconds), disorienting, damaging and highlighting enemies. If trappers ambush is equipped, allies who enter the smoke cloud are granted invisibility (lasts for 7 seconds if they leave) truesight (lasts for 3 seconds if they leave) and increases precision damage while standing in the smoke cloud (New ambush buff, lasts for 10 seconds after leaving the smoke cloud, 35% increased precision damage while standing in the smoke cloud, 20% after leaving the smoke cloud) Won't exit invisiblity after firing a weapon as long as you're in the smoke cloud. When not in stealth mode, hurl your knife, doing greatly increased precision damage. Hits to the head or the backs of enemies will deal critical damage. This is probably the most scuffed thing to ever be thought up, but it's an overhaul and is at least better than the current one.

Just thought about it some more, this could pair with certain exotics like Omni oculus and does open the idea to the likes of Gwisin vest getting a rework too. Maybe instead of extending the super duration: Grants trappers ambush. Exiting stealth mode or invisibility deploys a smoke cloud (5 seconds) defeating debuffed enemies while the smoke cloud is active grants bonus super energy. So basically exiting invisibility will grant you 5 seconds of increased super gain on debuffed targets.

People are already complaining that consecration is the only prismatic built on titan, I don't want pyro to catch a stray because bungie refuses to balance the classes properly and letting exotics be the cherry on top they're supposed to be instead of "fixing" potential problems before they happen. I'm looking at you sunspot nerf after nerf because we were getting an exotic that gives you 2x restoration, a damage buff, and a free sunspot for BAD positioning and having the audacity to take damage. Titan is by far my least played class but man i will never be able to let that shit go. Is there even someone who keeps track of what aspects and fragments get used and why? What exotic weapons and armor get used and why they get picked even if they don't top the charts? I mean fuck fucking cerberus+1 got a rework that noone cared about before we got proper subclass balancing in pve let alone SOME weapon balancing in pvp. cerberus+1? Really? That's the exotic that REALLY needed attention out of everything wrong with the sandbox as a whole right now? Don't get me wrong I'm loving alot of final shape but as someone who's be scorned by the hilarious lack of balance in crucible and how annoying champions were over the years till we got tormentors who just EAT PROJECTILES LIKE A 4 COURSE MEAL I am more than happy just continuing to live in gambit till the sandbox team gets their shit together. Cheese lord Invaders beware, you can bring all the golden guns, one shot body exotics, solo supers, and LMG spam you want, my winterbite and BxR will find you all the same :)

I was playing comp on prismatic, they popped a winter’s wrath, i tried popping my stormtrance on it, missed, got frozen, was 1hp from shatter and the non super team shots, i almost immediately killed the winter’s wrath upon thawing out, got all my health bad, and killed the entire team

Personally I would rank Vortex Nova Bomb higher than the "slow-va" variant simply because I have had absolutely horrible luck with it the latter. If I use it in PvP, 99% guarantee the "tracking" will drag it straight into the nearest wall and not do a single point of damage to any opposing targets. And in PvE virtually the same odds that if I aim it at a boss some random F-tier red bar will randomly appear, drag it away, and completely waste it on a scrub target I could have taken out with a single headshot. Meanwhile Vortex goes where I want it to go at least 85% of the time and even if it's not a direct hit it will pull targets in instead of being pulled off the mark by those targets, applying "weaken" to anything that isn't immediately wiped out by the initial blast to make both solo and team play go much more smoothly. In PvP Vortex is both an effective area-of-denial super and a "panic button" super if I thought I was tracking one enemy player and find out actually there's 3 or more in that room. I do miss the D1 options, I believe they were called "Shatter" and "lance," the 3-bomb burst and the high-speed, long-range shot. But more than that I miss the Obsidian Mind exotic helmet. It was so satisfying and really scratched that "power fantasy" itch to be able to sling one Nova at a huge group of adds to completely skip "add clear phase" and go right to "boss DPS" phase with another Nova already fully charged. On paper its signature perk was rolled into the Skull of Dire Ahamkara but it just doesn't feel anywhere near as effective (none of the "super kills return super energy" exotics live up to D1 performance) and also SoDA is just an ugly helmet and I wish they would at least give it an OM ornament. If it worked as well as the old OM that would maybe make "slow-va bomb" viable enough for me to bother with.

They picked the wrong variation to use for Fists of Havoc. She needs her heal and time extension (and to get something when she’s Amplified). Geomags should be base Chaos Reach, I say this as someone who hasn’t taken them off since Forsaken. Stormtrance is a D1 super that snuck into D2 without a real upgrade to make it competitive. I loved it in D1, but ever since D2 came out, it’s been missing something (I’m pretty sure it has only ever been buffed - check me if I’m wrong). It needs the Radiance/Song of Flame glow up. Sentinel needs to lean into what it is and more into Void. Ursa’s should be an addition not a requirement, but Doomfangs are fun. Possibly controversial take: Blade Barrage should be the super that comes back the quickest. As in like a 6 minute cooldown, but it still wouldn’t do as much damage as a Nova Bomb on its own. It’s literally a panic super. Cayde even uses it as one in Forsaken. “Oh shit! Baddies!” Blade Barrage. I’d also like to see some way of actually being able to tell where my knives are going. Spectral Blades should be faster while Invisible! Maybe have Devour? Does it Weaken? Thundercrash should get a blast radius increase… with damage scaling like a rocket - the further away you are, the less damage you take. I always felt like I was wasting it on a big group of adds because it wouldn’t always hit all of them.

As a Titan I basically agree except Glacial Quake being halfway decent doesn’t make up for the class as a whole being garbage. Fact remains if you design a class around nothing but add clear, your raid team isn’t going to say good job for a high kill count when your dps is bottom of the list.

Silence and squall being A tier and getting called the best one and one hunter super in PvP is crazy. The animation is so insanely long and you have barely any DR, making most of its casts result in either a trade or a death before squall can get thrown. I’d rank it top of C tier personally, or you may be able to argue B, but A is crazy

Always loved how needlestorm is the darkness equivalent of slowva, they are both one off explosive supers that launch little guys to attack, just ones a big bomb and the other is a bunch of tiny ones, same with with blade barrage and silence and squall, sentinel sheild and blade fury, and dawnblade and winters wrath, they all basically have the same dna but are changed to represent the difference between light and dark

dont let the haters drown out just how good nova warp is. It's a very effective ad clear super thanks to devour, bloom fragment, and volatile on hit with good total damage just over a long time. The same issue chaos reach has but nova warp is just more versatile. In pvp nova warp has some frustrating super matchups that require you to lean into your insane mobility toolkit to come out on top. The radius of the blast isn't the most forgiving due to harsh damage falloff but it can be learned and is absolutely terrifying when a good nova warp player has decided it's your turn to return to the aether. Overall i think B is a solid placement when taking into account the room for skill expression and shortcomings.

I think stormtrance should be a bit higher on this list, it is lackluster in pve but in pvp it is a powerhouse, being able to stomp some loser in a well or bubble then teleporting to go zap the rest of his teammates is truly one of the best ways to win your team a trials match

Take this with a grain of salt, since i play solo, but well atp feels D-tier. I do think it should have gotten a nerf, but i think that it shouldve just been enough to make you still have to avoid attacks. How it is right now makes it so that i clear every single add start a dps phase spend half the time STILL dodging attacks so i dont get most of my dps, and even doing all that, i still die because boss damage is high and you are supposed to soften that damage with supers and abilities, but Well now does so little and prevents most other buffs that im fairly sure i would be better off dropping a rift and a speaker turret and just switching to Song because atleast running song i get ad clear.

Forget other supers, fist of havoc is worse than some weapons it's so bad. My addclear might get worse because i can't have forbearance out and it's ability to regen super energy mid-super from kills with the light attack was taken away with arc 2.0

Fun fact about daybreak, it has unique animations and effects for phoenix dive, which also lets it do damage. I really wish that we could get the damage from phoenix dive with an exotic, but for now tis but a dream.

I agree with this list except for the placements of Nova Warp and Blade Barrage (the fact they’re in the same tier). I’m a Titan main, so maybe there’s something I’m missing, but from my perspective, Blade Barrage seems like a good damage super in the case another Hunter is already running Gathering Storm. It’s also a good shutdown in pvp, since each blade can instakill on detonation. Nova Warp is crazy in pvp, but it’s on the level of Stormtrance in pve. Mid ad-clear and no damage.

Spectral blades would be a lot cooler if it lasted longer. It doesn't need to be super strong. Less energy drain for using attacks and maybe giving back energy or granting invisibility for killing enemies from behind or something. If that still doesn't help it enough reduce the cooldown so at least it could be used for greater utility

SB in pvp is a must have for me. Get behind the enemy position and pop that thing at the right time, love seeing chained instakills and enemies shooting all over the place like headless chickens. Once it wears off, dodge to go stealth and scurry away.

Fists of Havoc > Thunder Crash Imo. I have shut down so many Thunder Crashes with Fists of Havoc just by virtue of being able to reach the ground faster. After that, free one hit shoulder charges. Be cool if they made it like song of flame, though. Make the slam a grenade and the shoulder charges melee, but didn't take away our guns.

Nova warp is only useful in PVE when you need to solo a boss room with a void buff. I solo'd that Nessus GM couple years ago after Chablo91 used it in his solo clear with relative ease. Got it next try. Extremely niche, but yeah, not good LMAO You really put 6 shot goldie in A (then B) and BB in C tier.....💀

I still gotta wonder. Why IS vanilla considered to be a "basic" flavor to most? Chocolate seems to be the default for most when it comes to flavoring and it's not like vanilla itself isnt a flavor. On topic with the song of flame showing shows something I find super annoying. By default at least on console the base warlock melee is being prioritized over the powered flame snap. The priority system for powered melees is so goofy sometimes. Long range melees like the void ball or the solar long range fireballs will always come out no matter what range you use them at but the short range snaps wont come out at all when enemies are too close. Which is nonsensical because close to mid range is where you want to be for them. No I don't want to palm my enemies during song of flame, I want to use my shotgun finger flame snap, why is this specific powered melee range locked? Same thing with the bonk titan. I can't use the hammer on enemies close range without actively changing the control scheme to do so, which for some reason goofs up inputs for other things despite those inputs being untouched. The powered melee priorities on console are so screwed up and it annoys me.

Fist of havoc really only has one role, chest of alpha lupi and orb generation, good for onslaught.. but thats about it Bubble will probably just never be good bc of how its designed where you cant shoot out of it, it will always just be a worse well unless they just absolutely destroy well or rework bubble entirely And they really need to buff all the lacking roaming supers to around silkstrike and bladefury's level

I have to disagree with the Glacial Quake placement. As a primarily Titan main who played with the stasis kit for a very long time in PvP and PvE, it's absolutely DOG SHIT. The reason why is twofold. 1: the super armor is nowhere near the same value as any other super, having been nerfed ages ago because of the absolute garbage excuse of the Chain fragment, which has been changed recently completely removing the reason for the nerf in the first place. If I recall correctly, you have equal to or less armor than the Chaos Reach, which isn't nothing but it's terrible for the fantasy of being this supposedly unstoppable frosty brawler. 2: the primary melee attack is the worst in any game, ever, for any reason. It's not a traditional shoulder bash, it's this long, drawn out strike that feels sluggish and unresponsive, that you have to HOLD THE BUTTON TO EXECUTE PROPERLY, and is so easy to counter with a single shotgun blast it's almost laughable. And even if you hit someone with the strike, it's not at all guaranteed to hit due to the garbage hit detection. If you're popping GQ, it's to spam right click and literally nothing else. You're better off consuming it to power Ager's Scepter instead, at least then it reliably kills enemies if you aim at them and left click. And don't even get me started with how lackluster it feels in PvE. All those speed runners using the melee ability to gain backwards bhopping levels of speed are a small group of crazy people who we shouldn't point at as the standard, because they're not even using it for it's intended purpose anyways, just like how they use well skating or Eager Edge. Anyways, you're using the GQ for the same thing you're using it in PvP for, except in PvE you can sort of reliably kill red bars and some orange bars with the basic melee attack in addition to stunning 2/3 Champs. But again, the armor is trash and you don't have a lot of healing so you're not surviving intense focus fire unless you put up the wall. GQ belongs in bottom tier with Spectral and Fists, probably at the bottom of that bottom tier. At least Fists has snappy movement to work with and you can jumpscare people around corners. You can't even do that with Quake.

I'm shocked you would put hammers that low. The damage output with star eaters on the class item is actually pretty high. Storm trance is cracked in PVP too, I'd bump that up. Winters wrath doesn't deserve to be that high, even with the PVP potential. I agree with this list otherwise, it's solid.

Nah no way Daybreak is B tier. I use it as a crutch for kills in PvP, you can zoom across the map and it has insane tracking for consistent one shots. Then with Dawn Chorus it's one of the strongest supers in PvE for raw damage
