+adamthewoo Times do change, but what you need to look at is what is best for you. Judging from the comments, and various videos with fellow vloggers, an investment in a new van and go back to travelling is an option, along with the others you mention. Another option---a small van type camper, towing a small car. Go to the camper parks or right to where you need to be. If you ever want to go on a side trip, just take the car- get one with really good mileage. At $2000 a month, plus the gas in the van to get around out there...if this makes sense to you, give me a shout out and can explain more.......options are also limited depending on total budget. And, thanks for all the insight and videos accompanying them.

It's hard to get your foot in Cali. If you leave, odds are you will not be back, especially to live there. Because of the price of living it's hard. If you ever do come back you will need to start from scratch and have a large amount of money up front, meaning first and last months rent just to get started. I say skip the pass, definitely something you can do without, and make Cali your home base. I left Southern Cali once and I regret it, now that I am back and settled (took me 3 years) I'll never leave again!

Going back on the road and renewing the coast to coast Disney pass feels right for you in my opinion. If you miss having a residence to reside in at the end of the day then you can always go back to that. You'll never know if you don't go!.

Man, I would love to be able to pick up and travel the country the way you have been able too in the past, and seeing you do so has allowed me to. I'm too stationary, and too far vested where I am with my family to be able to. it would scare me to leave my current situation. Maybe you could make your homestead at a central location, in a less expensive area. That way you have a base to head back to, but can still afford the travel. Midwest and south would be great options for low cost rent. Good luck with everything! Thank you for your videos!

I should give sensible advice- but honestly if it were me, I'd buy an RV and make it official, road dog all the time! If you come Midwesternly, Cedar Point's got a new coaster this year and Kentucky Kingdom's having an old one totally revamped. Good time for amusement parks around me!

Adam, great respect for what you have done and the spirit you do it in. Since you don't have a clear direction you are pulled in, I think: 1) You have done enough on Disney for a time. Do a day pass when you need to. Disney isn't going anywhere. Give them enough time to really WOW you next time you go; 2) Take a year or so and follow your muse to the new and the next. Canada sounds awesome. Wake up on Thursday and say "Self, we need us some old west ghost town" or "It's the year to do Burning Man."; 3) He who dies with the most happy and inspiring experiences wins! CA is a beautiful spot, and especially for the attractions that you do..We enjoy visiting Santa Barbara area but very expensive to live. Here in North Carolina you can have a 3 bedroom home for 700 a month, or less apt.. I've traveled every were with business but love coming home to my home state, Good luck Adam..

I'd say hop back in the van and get back to traveling. One of the main things that hooked me onto your channel was your "on the road" type blogs and main channel vids, showing us things and places that you ordinarily don't get to see or hear much about. I know Cali is the entertainment Mecca of the US, but there's so much more out there to see, as you've proven in the past.

Keep in mind the van is getting older with higher mileage,so it will be more prone to breakdowns as the parts start to wear out.Factor in extra costs for unexpected repairs and such. Godspeed sir.

Adam, You're never gonna stop going to Disneyland or Disney World. Buy a lower level annual pass to both of them. I only pay 15 bucks a month for mine. In efforts of keeping some sort of homebase you need to some roommates dude. Find one or two trustworthy people that you don't mind leaving in your house while you're away. They can help with rent as well. You came here for a reason man,don't let things changing in your life change the direction of your life, stay on your path. Adam, anything you do i will fully support you. You've come along way, from sleeping in your Van in frigidity cold temperatures, to being in places that are quite sketchy. Seeing that it will be a lot more beneficial in the longer run. The part about Moving out! This is not a bad option, will free up expenses as you have noted. Have been following on Y-Tube a number of full time RV and Campervan people. Traveling and documenting their travels. Also, Land is Dirt-Cheap!!! My place here will be my home-base when the times comes for me to hit-the-road. Give it some thought as my mortgage is less than 20 percent of your rent in Ca.

It may be Disney and traveling. Maybe downgrade your pass, travel to places around Cali, occasionally out of state, possibly get a roommate or maybe get a studio? I live about 50 minutes away from DLR and you can sometimes find guest houses and studios for $850. You've probably thought of all this. Lol. Adam, Have you considered selling the van and getting a camper van and living out of it? Most of the time you can just pull into a walmart parking lot and stay overnight without them having a problem, in fact they encourage it. Another advantage to a camper van is that most of them have a kitchenette and some even have a bathroom. One thing to consider is getting decals on a camper van with your channels on it and maybe even having some decals from sponsors (maybe even Disney would give you a bigger discount on your pass for putting their ad on the camper van).

I'm from Utah where no lotto tickets are sold, so most people drive across state lines to Colorado or Nevada and purchase tickets there. so yep, you could buy one in California with a Florida drivers license!

You should invest in the dual Annual passes again. Some of your best content comes from the Disney Parks, so its a good investment. As for the other conundrum, that is something that needs a lot more time and thought. You're coming out of a drastic change in your personal life, so you need to put some space between that event and you making a final decision about packing up and traveling, you know? :) Chin up, Adam! It sounds to me listening to you speak in this video that you're dying to get out there and travel again. I'd say don't cement that decision now with all your gonna through but keep turning it over for at least a few weeks to make sure. I'd also not commit to a Disney pass either. The last thing you need right now is commitment. In the end you can only do whatever feels right to you though I selfishly hope to see you out there on the road again. I know there are a lot of Disney fans who like seeing you constantly go there but it's limiting. I believe most of us follow you for the capital A "Adventure" you bring us. And of course the less you put limits on your adventures, for example, by staying in one general place, the less of an Adventure you are able to provide... I found a sweet new place after a breakup in December, and it's been much better to be in new surroundings. You've got a couch in Vancouver, Canada anytime.
