It's so true, I miss Blockbuster so much. When we got 4 movies we finished them all, we never stream 4 movies in a night now. Even taking the movies back was a fun trip. I miss life before the internet and cell phones. It was a much more relaxed simpler time.

Adam, the stars on the old saloon were attached to rods that ran in the structure. The stars were to support the brick veneer and to keep it from falling off. A lot of our old buildings in Baltimore have these.

Hi Adam! We've been going back and forth across Indiana with various loads for the past couple of days and are glad you're back up this way. We spent about 10 days before that running up and down the PA Turnpike, and the leaves were gorgeous! Good to see your sis and her "wild" kingdom, too! Be safe out there.

I was a manager of a Blockbuster Video in Norfolk VA. I worked for Erols Video and Blockbuster bought them out and I worked For Blockbuster Video after that. I worked all nights as I was in the Navy Days. I wrote schedule so I was off Duty Days. If we went to sea I took a leave of absence for 4 to 6 months. I was a good employee, always came in early and when called. It was a Fun Job

Although decorative, those stars on the side of the building are actually connected to extra supporting rods to help hold the walls up. A lot of of the time they were post construction when a weakness was detected

Made by Hairless Joe and Lonesome Pole cat in Dogpatch, Kickapoo Joy Juice was first made to be sold at the now defunct Dogpatch Theme park in Arkansas (about 7 miles from where I grew up). It became so popular they distributed nationally..... many people think, it was the taste that inspired Mountain Dew. I have not seen a bottle of that since the early '70's at the park. Talk about home nostalgia..... THANK YOU for that. Great vlog! These are the kind I like best, but so far, there hasn't been a vlog I haven't liked! Keep up the great work, Adam!

Those Stars embedded in the brick wall are called "architectural stars" and it has a rod attached to it that goes through the wall and on the inside there is another star or plate. They are used to clamp the wall back together once the wall starts to crumble and buckle. They aren't always stars, sometimes just metal squares or circles, but can also be decorated or carved with patterns Source: My mom collects antiques and went through a phase where she had a bunch of them salvaged from demolished or fallen buildings and farms
