His last words was actually “Ben, make sure you play ‘Take My Hand, Precious Lord’ in the meeting tonight. Play it real pretty.” And another thing when they come to repair anything to the motel and they’ve been doing this for I think about 2 or 3 decades(I’m not sure how long) trying to clean up the pool of blood Reverend Doctor Martin was laying in when he was shot they come back the next day to finish the repairs or within the next few days and it’s right back to the way it was they’ve even replaced the concrete slab I heard once (I’m sure they wouldn’t do that) but it keeps coming back so after a long time they just gave up and left it there Some people think it’s Martin trying to telling them something I just think it’s how much he bled out and how thick it was because blood will only leak on to a certain point and then it will start to soak into the ground it’s in and it will be hard to get rid of but if anyone has made it this far thank you for reading and have a wonderful day

It's sad that the Lorraine Motel became an infamous symbol of hate, for back in its time it was a symbol of racial tolerance and cooperation. A black owned motel, it was one of the only places where black and white musicians could congregate and socialize when they were in town recording at the nearby Stax Recording Studios (whose museum you should visit before leaving town). Otis Redding & Steve Cropper together wrote many of Otis's hit records while hanging out at the motel, including "Sittin' On The Dock of the Bay."
@melodymakermark

You are correct. I’ve heard Cropper speak in interviews about spending time at the Lorraine when Stax musicians were in town.

Makes sense why they killed him in the that hotel so they can shut that down like every other black owned business. Guess ,what y’all’s time has ended. No one’s taking this 💩 anymore. Y’all will feel the wraith 2xs worse than us. This say. the Bible. We’re waiting for that green.

So she was pretty much next door to him,that’s why they changed the room. Only survivor and witness. They’ll probably kill her too

Gosh, Tzedek, that sounds like a threat, leveled at me, even though I just expressed a message of tolerance and acceptance. As he explains in the video, The Lorraine was no longe a viable business at the time that it became a civil rights museum. It's designation as an historic site probably saved it from the wrecker's ball. A motel where Dr. King once stayed, in my town, no longer stands. I don't think that James Earl Ray was trying to destroy a business. He was trying to destroy a man, and an idea.

I'm glad you brought this sad piece of history to your viewers today. I was 13 when Dr. King was slain, and I still get emotional every time I think about it. He accomplished so much during his short lifetime. Some people are born to be leaders and Dr. King was one of those people. His loss to the nation is so great that it can't be measured.

I've been to the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles and it was heart-wrenching. Just the few moments in your vlog of this museum was emotional for me, too. But I love learning, so I thank you for taking us with you, Adam. Dr King was a good, Godly man who was making a huge difference in this world. I believe, had he lived, our world would be so much different... more united, tolerant and understanding. Dr King's death, out of all the recent ones you've vlogged about recently, is the only one that has brought me to tears while watching. It was truly a tragic event that has left our lives for the worse.... and I say that as a white woman, if anyone cares to know. As far as the 303/307 debate... I'm wondering, was there a 307 room there somewhere? Maybe down that hallway? I figure it got changed to better go with the flow of room numbers and the person who did it simply wasn't thinking about the historic factor to those numbers. But what do I know? lol

I’m a Canadian and was a child when he was assassinated. Many years later in my 60s I took a bus tour to Memphis. We boarded the bus for what I thought was a tour of the record studios. Before I knew it we were at the Lorraine Motel. I got out and took pictures. The tears streamed down my face and I couldn’t stop. It was uncontrollable. I was embarrassed because I was the only one crying. It’s sad that we haven’t come very far since then.

He was killed and did not have the opportunity to provide for his family. His speeches were copyrighted because. as he alluded to more than once, he felt he would be assassinated. Proceeds from using his speeches would be some money for his family, so in a way he is still supporting them. Also, the family has the power to decide how, why, when, where and by whom the speeches are going to be used, which is important

Hi Adam, I have really enjoyed your channel for a while now. I like the variety of topics that Large Marge has enabled you to let all of us experience vicariously through your eyes. You and Justin Scarred have motivated me to start exploring more than ever before. I was able to take my mom on a road trip through California a few months ago and we experienced Salvation Mountain (I am not religious but can appreciate Leonard Knight's devotion. I am amazed at the effort he put into it.), The Salton Sea, numerous funky roadside attractions, and some traditional travel destinations like Disneyland (My mom's first visit there was in 1957. Her only other visit was in 1984 so it was almost a completely new experience for her), La Brea Tar Pits, and Hearst Castle. I want to thank you for motivating me to explore this way. It created an experience I will always treasure. I also want to thank you for showing me that the various Visitor's Centers can be a worthwhile stop. I stopped at my first one this week in West Wendover, NV. It was definitely worth the time. If you ever pass through that way you should check out the center, The Wendover Air Base (It is where thee Enola Gay and Bockscar crews practiced bomb runs in preperation for ending WW II, and Danger Cave. The cave was used as a recreation hall during the war and is also an archaeological site. A little place with a lot of important history.

He's always visited cemeteries. he's got vlogs with cemeteries as far back as i can remember, even on the Adamthewoo channel. It's just who he is. I don't think he's afraid of death at all and likes to celebrate the life of each person he visits the grave of.
