You guys were wondering about how someone would have taken aerial photos back in 1917. They used kites back then to carry a camera aloft. The technique dates back to 1887-88. There is a famous panoramic aerial photo that shows the devastation of San Francisco after the 1906 earthquake taken by George R. Lawrence using a kite camera.

My Dad died in 1984 and I've now been alive twice as long without him, as I was with him in my life and he was the biggest influence on my life. Very informative video Adam. St. Cloud is one of the areas we have been looking at and doing some research on to possibly move to. We can't move for another 3 years (when our youngest is out of HS), but we want to be sure that we will really like the place we move to.
