I mean the situation was entirely different. 1. While Gwen and Trent liked each other, they weren’t officially dating yet. Duncan and Courtney were. 2. Heather kissed Trent solely to mess with the couple and ensure they don’t start an alliance that could undermine her own. Gwen and Duncan both liked the kiss and began dating. 3 Heather was Gwen’s enemy , so something like that wouldn’t be uncommon. Gwen and Courtney are friends, so that makes the scenario worse for Gwen

TWDT was my favorite season, but it basically ruined all the couples. Because of All Stars, no way Dwuncan or Duncney can ever exist, especially since Gwen and Courtney basically laughed at him and seemed to get over him once he was arrested (sad that after countless seasons Duncan has been on, he gets thrown out like that by the writers). The only good thing to come of all this drama is that Gwen and Trent can hopefully one day get back together, like in the good old days of TDI.

I know. Here's what I would've done in this season. First, I would have had Duncan dump Courtney before kissing Gwen. Also, Noah is spared from elimination as Owen sacrifices himself and takes his place. Then Duncan and Gwen get found out in Greece, and Duncan is saved from elimination. Instead of watching her throw a tantrum in The Ex-Files, Duncan calls her out on her behavior in front of everyone, and reminds her of all the times she betrayed, used, abused, and treated him like a punching bag, and then some of the others become more sympathetic and listen to Duncan and Gwen's side of the story. She tries kicking him in the groin, but he's wearing a cup, having anticipated her predictable response. Courtney still gives Gwen grief, and then Gwen sings a song with the same music, but different lyrics, calling Courtney out on everything that went wrong between her and Duncan and telling her it was her own fault. Courtney gets eliminated in Australia instead of Gwen, who makes it to the merge.
