TDX | Icebreaker 2 Tower Expert Solo on Baseplate

If you saw my old 2 tower Expert on Deserted Island, this is another way you could do it with Icebreaker instead, on the Baseplate map. Is Icebreaker OP? I thought it sucked, but I realized it's actually quite good, especially at max level, will this tower obsolete expert grinding with regular towers, since it's so easy to use and cheese the entire mode?

I like to think of Icebreaker as Slammer, Mine Layer, and Cryo Blaster all rolled into one tower, with ice damage for all attacks of course.

You can also do this with helicopter, since X-5 has a passive ability to stealth reveal (mostly mid-late game) making this even more braindead

Loadout: ghost and icebreaker NOTES: -Ghost’s ability must be used in every stealth wave (wave 17, wave 26, etc) -Icebreaker’s ice shards should be microed -Refer to the video for placements STRATEGY: -place a 0-2 ghost -place a level 4 icebreaker (get it to level 4 asap before the knight spawns) -upgrade the ghost to 4-2 (USE DRONE WHEN WAVE 17 IS ABOUT TO START) -place a level 3 icebreaker -max out the first icebreaker (PLACE A SHARD ON THE SECOND CORNER AT WAVE 22 ASAP AND USE SNOWSTORM AT WAVE 23) -max out the second icebreaker (at this point, just start spamming the shard ability) -place a third max icebreaker -get another 4-2 ghost (at this point, micro drone ability) -spam max icebreakers until wave 35 and constantly microing their abilities -get 5 5-2 ghosts and micro drone -place 2 max icebreakers -place 3 more 5-2 ghosts From this point on, its just microing until wave 40. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE MANY ICE SHARDS SET UP FOR WAVE 40 AND USE SNOWSTORM ABILITY If you lose, its because you didnt place enough ice shards before wave 40

I use units who can slow, stun or freeze the enemies. Ice breaker is one of my top choices, combine it with high dps units, it's a good combination

You sure can, add anything you’d like just be smart about how you use it because you need the max level Icebreaker for Wave 22, or some other solution for that wave if you brought extra towers. Icebreaker is also helpless late game unless she’s given stealth reveal by Ghost or 2-5 Heli.

I suppose you could always just use cryo blaster to keep the boss frozen after it steps on the ice, but the initial freeze just requires you to spam ice shards a reasonable distance away and not skip the endgame waves so they accumulate and freeze him.

Icebreaker always leaks 1 zombie in expert wave 1 rah. Ghost also couldn’t defend so this loadout has forced leaks no matter what you do.
