You missed the trail to Colac Bay, the Colac Bay camp is great.

Popped out on the road for the last 6km to Colac Bay. Tide was just too high. Agee that the Colac Bay camp is a good little spot. I’d read some poor reviews about it but personally thought it was fine. 😊

I should have told you,just walk up the highway to otautau and get back on trail thus missing all that horrid forest

Curious to know how you are on day 76 if heading north from Riverton? Have you done other sections?

We walked the Nth Island SOBO and have swapped now to NOBO. Allows us to miss the TA SOBO conga line currently moving through the Richmond ranges!
