We've always enjoyed the quiet and more leisurely pace of life of Te Waipounamu. Enjoy! And enjoy the peace & solitude that awaits you, and will welcome you. At least you have a time to prepare for the Weka and Kea. Take care. Noho haumaru.

How did it feel being amongst so many people in a confined area on the ferry? I hope it wasn't too much of a shock after 2+ months on the trail! All the best for the South Island!
