Better this stuff than the crap written by Wagner for the wedding scene in the opera *Lohengrin.* *Lohengrin* literally dissolves in murder and betrayal mere minutes AFTER the wedding. What kind of omen is music like that?

I've heard several renditions of the prelude, but your version remains my favorite; the tempo is perfect for contemplating each note and the breadth of the tones comes through beautifully, even in the lo-fi recording. I'm not one for church-going, but it brings tears to my eyes and makes me want to worship - every time. Beautifully performed! Bravo!

Really? There are organs that I prefer, sure, but I certainly don't think this is a bad one... granted, though, I think the best recording (both on the level of organ/registration and interpretation) of this piece still goes to Frédéric Deschamps on the Albi Cathedral organ (kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmSUnJqIj9aYntU ).
