I have a porcelain tea set inherited from my great grandmother. Never used because it’s too rare now, but I love drinking tea from porcelain tea cups, it just seems to enhance the flavour. One must also enjoy the tea with a small slice of cake.

Love this video! I must go to a tea room soon! Been too long, especially considering I live in England haha. If the crockery you are using is fine bone china, pour the milk in first so as not to crack it with the heat. I personally love a big mug of tea that I can wrap my hands around hahaha. No etiquette here clearly haha. This is a beautiful video my ears are in heaven. Thank you!

Fab video as always. Alas … speaking as a Brit living in the uk .. our British tea time is now more a tradition in hotels and tea establishments such as Bettys. We seem to be infiltrated with coffee shops from Cafe Nero to Costa. Traditional afternoon tea is now served in elite hotels and establishments at somewhat exorbitant prices. Think Claridges. And Fortnum and Mason Of course there are always the ‘Greasy spoon cafe s’ on every street corner that are famous for serving huge mugs of ‘ builders tea’. A tea so dark and strong the spoon stands up in it !!
