Omg! I’m from Toronto and the Royal York is truly amazing. They still offer afternoon tea, but it’s no longer served in the old ballroom. They have updated/renovated the hotel quite a bit, but it still has the same vintage charm and feel of originality to it :)

Hi Lindy!! First of all it pleasantly surprised me when you said my name, hehe. Secondly, darn, my sons' name is not Wesley or Nate! Shall we keep trying, or would you like me to spill the beans 😁 I looove tea!! I have so many different flavours that I love, I drink double burgemot earl grey for breakfast, I also love the flavour of "forever nuts" made by David's Tea, that company has almost any flavour that you can think of, sweet potato pie, apple cinnamon, peach, s'mores just to name a few of them in my cupboard. Red rose is such a good tea! Have you ever had a brand called "Typhoo" they make such a beautifully smooth flavoured orange pekoe tea. My middle daughter Victoria is turning 42 on Thursday and her gift from us is the most beautiful teapot. We had a full on tea party for my youngest daughter Stephanie when she turned 38 in March! I love the teapots and cups that you displayed today! This video was right up my alley! Talking about Victoria magazines and books, and tea! Thank you for putting a smile on my face as always, my friend. 😃💕🫂

I just enjoyed this video so much!!! I’ve had tea at the Royal York and it’s so nice! I love teapots and teacups as well (I even told my daughter a Mrs. Potts teapot would be an excellent gift for me). Her fave tea is Heavenly Cream and mine is chai or sweet orange. Red rose teas ceramic anise also was very popular at our house too. This felt like just the best visit!!

I loved this video, Lindy!!! I've never had a formal afternoon tea but it's something I'd like to enjoy, one day. My beloved Nana got me hooked on tea when I was just a wee girl and it's a love that turned into a deep passion. I even got a leadership role at my local Teavana when they were still in business years ago. I do love me a good old black tea and I'm pretty sure darjeeling is my favorite! I could talk for days on end about tea haha but for now I'll just thank you for listening to requests, it means so much! Have a tea-riffic week!

Lindy☕️I loved the video today!! I am definitely trying that recipe the cucumber cream cheese for little tea sandwiches. They sound delicious. This is definitely is a video I will rewatch you have a lot of knowledge on tea. I am an Earl gray tea drinker so I’m like your oldest son that is my favorite but now with all the other ones you mentioned I’m going to have to try some new ones, I have Franciscan Desert Rose as my china that my parents gave me for my Bridal shower before I was married so I’ve been collecting them ever since they gave me a service of eight I think originally… but I love your pattern as well. My aunt had that same pattern and we used to to eat d Christmas dinner at her home and it always looked so beautiful and elegant. Your tea cup collection is simply stunning and that is a beautiful tradition you put into place with your children. I do use milk in my tea. I know people in America don’t think that’s normal but it’s very normal in Britain considering my dad’s from Wales first generation it was normal for me to drink tea with milk and sugar of course I love the cubed sugar as well and I think that’s so funny that your son would get up in the cabinet and hide under the dresser in the hallway, it’s a shame you didn’t get a picture of it or a video that would’ve been really funny. Anyway have a great week very calming relaxing. I learned a lot about tea and I’m gonna take a bigger interest in it because I have to get away from drinking coffee that is not agreeing with my stomach. That’s what I think I have to stop drinking. Happy Sunday, Lindy! Not a huge tea drinker but these look delicious! I love the china sets! My grandma always had a huge china cabinet full of plates, bowls, sets etc. Do you use sugar or milk for the tea? What a fun activity for the kids. I bet they loved it!

My current favorite ritual is sleepytime or honey vanilla chamomile tea before bed. I made the perfect size tea cup at my moms pottery studio so I don't drink too much close to bedtime and it's been really nice lately!

😲 I am the only person I know that puts half and half in my tea lol!!! People always tell me milk is okay but half and half is too much. I love the creamy taste of it in my black tea. I rarely drink black tea any other way.....thank you for making me feel okay now about my half and half lol. This was such a nice video thank you for sharing💜

This was delightful. I have two favorite teas --green tea jasmine pearls (the scent is heavenly). The other, I can't think of the brand, will try to remember to come back with it, is a honeybush tea. If you haven't tried honeybush, you should. No caffeine and a mild honey taste. The one I have is a vanilla caramel honeybush. So good. the bags are an interesting material, almost a silk like feel. I used to get the catalog from Upton tea -- it's so fun to look at, they have so many kinds of teas

​@@Southernladyasmr the tea is made by revolution and I was mistaken, it's just caramel honeybush but still so wonderful. The brand you like that makes the vanilla almond tea also makes a vanilla rooibos that is good. But I like the honeybush better -- it's milder and richer to me.
