Yes it's a Pearce Simpson Super Cheetah in Australia. Functions a bit different. Really solid radio and good performer, very sought after here.

Great looking radio's just so much better than all the New ones coming out, with power built in, one quick question if you don't mind I've would love to hear your opinion on which antenna you think is better the 1/4 all the 5/8 wave, for DX, because I'm just about to start looking for a new Ariel and just wondering what one is better for them long distances. Anyway thanks again for the video's.ps that was some bleed over, I think it was 4or 5 channels. like he is sitting outside the house and pushing watts lol. 🇺🇲🇬🇧🤔💯👍

I have been enjoying your vudeos. What was the purpose of the glue? And is it still used in new radios?
@pulsarcb11 сағат бұрын
To keep components from vibrating.

Is the PLL chip(MB8719) sensitive to static electricity during the glue removal, any special precautions in doing it? Thanks🙂

I'm sure if you hit it with a high-powered esd, it will hurt it. But not under normal servicing. No strap needed like on a cmos chips
