This has the same head mount block (and visually identical heads too) as the Kenwood KX-9010. The nice thing about these is that they work perfectly with the cassette pressure pad removed, unlike other dual capstan decks - you can really extend the life of the heads by using them like that. The thing I don't like about these drives is the geared idler option. Although more reliable than the rubber idler, the slotting from the gears does cause a certain amount of flutter. This depends on the quality of the cassette and maybe on how the plastic gears have aged, and is most noticeable at the start of the tape when the takeup reel is the lightest but it is there...
