I can't take any training seriously from someone who allows their horse to pin their ears, thrash their tail, hop and kick, without correction. You're allowing her to create some bad habits and rewarding her for them with your twitch. She needs to learn some respect. Your method is good, but that horse needs some serious basic work before she's ready for the advanced ground work.

What do you suggest that he do with a mare who has opinions like Mercedes? How would YOU correct this horse behavior?

It seems more like the mare is swatting at bugs and what not. Not much of an attitude problem, more of a distracted mare. Fly spray normally clears that up.

I love a horse with personality, opinion and little actitud!. Otherwise I feel that I am working with a death horse :).

I think this mare behaves very well. Some animals are stupid, dumb. This horse is very nice, and most important that she is bright, that she can learn in few days.
