I graduated last month and currently I am volunteering at high school from the beginning of term 2. Do they not accept copies, I'm really not at ease to send school/companies my originals.😥 And how about renumeration, is it better than Taiwan? I'm currently in Taiwan too. Just a quick question Judy. Please advise as to whether you have CELTA or not. I've been applying to Alkhaleej and QEC but I haven't got feedback. Is CELTA really mandatory? If you do have CELTA where did you do yours?

Hey Momgezi, it's so unfortunate. I do not have CELTA. I received the same feedback quite a few times but never lost heart. Keep on applying. They are big on CELTA when you apply for the universities. Maybe specify that you are looking into international schools. That way they won't be demanding of CELTA. I have no idea where one can do CELTA, check British Council or Cambridge.

Depends on the school and project, sometimes they do request for a a video, but often not. It’s usually intro, then other schools might ask you to prepare a demo lesson during the interview

Try to get another letter maybe from the school you did your teaching practice at. You can ask your teacher mentor to draft one and stamp it.

The agency has got several projects. The schools or universities does their own interviews. It depends school by school.

Questions 2 & 3 are usually their favorite questions. You can expect questions like: 1. Previous teaching experience and how it has prepared you for teaching in Saudi Arabia 2. How you incorporate technology and digital resources in your teaching. 3. How you address diverse learning needs. 4. You classroom management and discipline approach 5. What collaboration means to you as a teacher. Do not be nervous. All the best. For which University is it for?
