At what point do you start using the back signal to release? I see the question about using back for blinds but when do you start teaching back as go and what’s the best method to do that?

When should you send your dog with the "back" command and when should you use their name?

good question, scott! everyone is different but for marks, we use the dog's name. for blinds, we use the back command.
