unfortunately, the schools in my district don't allow us to pick our own classes until college which really sucks because there is so much i want to learn but can't take a class for. this video was really helpful because i usually get discouraged when trying to learn stuff on my own. i love your videos :)

Your videos have helped me sooo much, I'm bipolar and have for the past 3 years had really bad episodes of depression, I could never explain how I was feeling or talk to people about it. Then I found your journaling videos, and since then I've been doing morning and evening pages and I'm pretty amazed at how much more positive I have become because of it. Before I would have spent most days just feeling lost and not knowing how to do something about it. But now I could be having a horrible day and could feel like I have absolutely no purpose, but sitting down for 30 or 40 mins in the evening's writing, and being able to read back over older things I've written has just shown how lost I felt back then but how it never last forever. Even when I'm manic writing really just help keep my head clear and stops me getting overwhelmed. So yeah, this is really long Soz.... but thank you soooo much for making these videos and just being so positive. Love from Wales!!!

Teaching yourself skills is so important because with the constant growth and development of the technological world, it's so important to be on top of things. A lot of people--especially college students--don't realize that education shouldn't stop at the end of class. We should remember that we're all life-long learners; there's always something to learn that'll make you more marketable and useful person. You can literally make money just by managing Facebook and other social media accounts--just gotta learn how to do it! Thanks soo much for reminding us to never stop learning!

I 100000000% agree!!! People always say that they wish they could learn a language. My response is "ok then do it" and honestly, you really can. I didn't decide to learn languages until I was 25 and just posted a video about how many languages I know or study...It's fun. I'm primarily an artist and think that creative people may be better at this type of thing than some personality types too...

I completely agree with this, I feel like if you aren't learning something everyday then you aren't really trying and living life. I am creating my own youtube account and I am constantly learning how to improve my videos and learning more about social media and how it all works. One of my favorite ways to learn about new topic is definitely TED talks! They introduce you to so many new topics and then if you find them interesting you can go deeper and explore them more.

Personally watching as a kid it encourages me to start being a student for life but still i want to pursue my dreams to become a doctor but I still want to learn many new things about the world and life. This is so so true and It fits my morning insight. I wanted to write an article about it. I actually just graduated in psychology and I spent the last year avoiding to ''learn'' anything. Maybe I needed a break, but I decided I really need to come back into reading scientific articles and taking time to google what I have to learn instead of just reading random articles appearing in my feed. I love this video. I agree with you about learning for life. I was a troubled kid and I hardly went to school. Basically everything I learnt is almost always on my own. When I tried to enrol for a class in the past I never had any qualification to get in. So I just do short courses that does not require anything. Now it's better though because you can learn basic courses. Sometimes I get inpatient and quit quickly. I never know things take time and you have to preserver. I always thought things should take quickly other ways i am stupid or something. This video inspire me to keep going.

Thanks for your suggestion, before hearing you I thought I was a bit weird always being curious and eager for learning. I've finished a Coaching course on April and I would start a career in this field so I would learn about logo design and something about going freelance. I really love photography too and I would learn about street photography becausenI leave in a beautiful decadent town where I love wandering and one day I would show its pictures in a community of people that now meet in a deconsacrated church called Santa maria in Passione, that was partly bombarded during world war II. Now it is half church half commune and I love it very much and I think it would be the place to host events like a photo exibition.Here are all my ideas (for the moment ;-) )Thanks

Learning, right? I have no money and I also have a dream, right? The dream is to play violin. It requires lessons and my own instrument too. I did the math. It'd require 8 000 pln... (Cause private lessons twice a week for like 2 years + the violin) I keep praying for an opportunity to play, to start learning. I'm only 19 and my mom helps me a lot. If you guys would like to pray for this too, I'd be greatful. It most certainly will come back to you :D I mean, the prayer for anything. Hold on everybody! And keep dreaming!

I think this is one of my favorite video of yours. I love learning so much i consider it my main hobbie. It amazes me how you have managed to learn so much online!!! Someday if you have time i would love a video on how you organize your time - not only your blogging schedule ( i saw that video already) but rather tips on how to manage a job/ hobbies / sport and LEARNING. I find that often when i want to learn something new or take an online class it is difficult for me to manage my time as i have so many other priorities/ things to do..would love your opinion on how to manage a lot to do and learning :)

Vale Are you depressed? That's what happens to me when I'm depressed. Make sure to exercise and spend some time outside. I schedule something I like to do every day. That way I always have something to look forward to. Good, regular sleep and nutrition also helps. Good luck! ❤❤❤

pick a topic or hobby you're really curious about and start small. if you don't feel like you care for anything, then there's no need to force yourself to learn. just learn without expectation or judgment of yourself. take care of yourself first!

Vale Me too!I was like that since I was a kid!My mom put me in every activity that you can imagine but after a while I got bored and didn't want them anymore until I decided to be a ballet student and I fell in love with ballet! I think it's trial and error until you find something that makes your life sparkle and that sets you free. DON'T GIVE UP! You will find that sparkle in your life sooner or later.

I have always been curious. My parents would say why don't you stick to one thing and work to excel at it.. but i just want to keep trying new things..
