Excellent, Marc. But at 1st was a little confusing when you said to resolve into the 3rd and started counting 4-1. Maybe just slow down a little, point out that 7->5 (frets) on 3 is resolving into the 3rd (C) from above. (C =Flat 3rd for Am7) It sounds great man. Thank you for making me think. 🤔

Hello, I have a question ! , When playing guide tones ( 2 note chords ) on the middle strings, do you Visualize the roots on 6th / 5th strings or only on the middle strings themselves? Now i started to practice this concept, but both methods seem to work, and i cannot decide witch is better.. Lets say if we have A minor chord and I play G and C on the middle strings (5th fret) , then would you visualize the Am root as 5th fret 6th string or 7th fret 4th string?? I ask this because if we use only this 2 note comping in faster tempos visualizing these 5th and 6th string can be more confusing? so should we forget completely the rest of the fretboard and play it as we had a 2 stringed instrument? Might seem irrelevant, but to me this is quite an important thing to know... 🤔

Hi Marc, great video. I’m beginning jazz and know a few chord voicings, but find it difficult to change quickly and smoothly between chords. What would your advice be on this? Thanks
