On an unrelated note, I shared your Dear Teacher video with my principal and she showed it to our staff at our opening of school meeting. I love, love, love this PLANNER! I'm a first-year teacher and 3 days in and my head is spinning. Right now I'm trying to get organized (something I've never been really good at) and I haven't settled on 1 way that works. My notes are everywhere. LOL, I have 2 different small notebooks that I use or just random papers. I need something to get them all in one place that I can carry around with me. I'm literally sitting at my desk at home with teacher manuals surrounding me trying to work on plans for the upcoming week. I bought a planner from Target Dollar spot but returned it when I got a free planner from LakeShore. I haven't used it yet though since the first 3 days were really focusing on procedures. A teacher shared hers with me that she types and prints out but I still love the idea of writing things down first, especially since I can take it with me anywhere and add notes. I figured I'd type it up afterward in the templates for my district so my Principal can look at them when need be. I love how your planner is personalized and I can edit if need be. I especially love the inspirational quotes and bible verses that are throughout your teacher planner. I'll need the encouragement and motivation to get through my first year! I think its great that there is a Goals page and a Reflection page. Also, I like that I can add my own pages. This would greatly help with organization and allow me to focus on everything else. Love the planner. We are 12 days in and it feels more like 8 months with all the meetings and added responsibilities our school has added this year, but my faith and love for the kids keeps me going. Just found you today! I have been watching all your videos! Just love them. I really like your planner it just has everything it is fabulous. I love that you have the quotes throughout the planner because we all need encouragement and praise throughout the school year. I am special education teacher and having all the kids information in one place is great! I have them just not organize!. Paperwork just takes over my life. Reflecting is so important and I do it often but it is nice to see in one place how things went well and not so well. Thanks for all your insight!
