FORESTELLA are considered the "kings of harmonies". They cover top songs of all genres in different styles, adding their own flavors, making each song their own and always respecting the original. They just turned Bad Romance on its head with their new version that went viral. Each voice is unique on its own, but when they create these incredible harmonies together, it's stunning! Technically highly qualified they are able to produce the most unbelievable sounds (live!) 4 singers can sound like 40.

@@김정은-c8s Your explanation and introduction to Forestella was very good and I agree with you, all the members of Forestella are really very great and amazing, that's why I really love them, it's true that there are only 4 of them but when their voices come together you'll think it's a whole orchestra with them, and maybe this person who gave a reaction to their song thought the same, he thought maybe they had a backup singers, but now he would have realized that there were no other singers behind them, it's just the 4 of them singing.

Forestella fan here. so we have ko woorim who is the bass and cho mingyu who is the tenor, they are both classically trained. then there is bae doohoon who has the more pop voice he is a musical actor, then kang hyungho who has the rock tenor voice, he has no training whatsover. I would watch their save our lives video that explains more of the story and it came out before this song, so you will also find the first 3 acts. thanks for reacting to them.

Forestella are currently making their name known through the kpop world and often perform now on stages alongside kpop groups even performing at the MAMA awards this year as well as on Gayo Daejon. They are a male Quartet consisting of the following: The youngest Ko Woo rim is the Bass. He is a classically trained and has in opera terminology is classified as a Basso Profondo. He was a 23YO college student studying Vocal music when Forestella was formed through Phantom Singer 2. Next we have Cho Mingyu who is a classically trained Tenor and the leader of Forestella. He supported and mentored Ko Woo rim throughout Phantom Singer 2, the group say he is the loudest and most outgoing in the group. Then we have Bae DooHoon, the oldest member. He is a Tenor though admits to also being a baritone which is believable as he often hits low notes and like to imitate Woo rim (though not a deep). He is a musical actor with more of a rock centred voice though easily blends with the others in his group. The final member of Forestella is Kang Hyung Ho. He is actually a Tenor and soprano which he can be otherwise known as a counter tenor. He hits the really high notes in female range opera. He has no musical training and was in bands throughout his life. He actually was a chemical engineer before going onto Phantom Singer where he joined the group. Phantom singer was actually going to be his last shot at being a singer and that if it didn’t work out he would give up trying. Sorry for the long comment, just a nice roundup of the 4 members and their roles and who they are.

This MV starts with act 4. The first 3 acts you find in the MV of „Save our lives“. These guys are beyond amazing and so versatile, they can do every genre. It would be a shame if they were only reduced to K-pop.

You might enjoy their live performance of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. The composer of this piece is a guy called Valensia. He is heavily influenced by Queen and you can hear the influences here, If you like pop, Forestella have a live version of Lady Gaga's Bad Romance that is fun. Alternatively they have covered Michael Jackson's smooth Criminal. and Ed Sheeran's Shape of You. In terms of kpop they just covered MAMA by EXO. (These live performances ususally are on korean tv channels and sometimes have copyright issues, just to warn you).

They are the winner group in the Phantom Singer 2; an audition show to form a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea. However as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world! Forestella has sung great covers like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Hijo de la Luna, Heal the World, the Sound of Silence, My Favorite Things, Champions (mash-up of Champs league theme and Champions by Jo SuMi), Nella Fantasia, Scarborough Fair..etc etc. At the Phantom Singer All Stars they sang Time in a bottle, Je suis Malade as well. Shape of You in English, Spanish and African Zulu is fantastic indeed. You can even see them dancing singing Smooth Criminal as well! And they broke the record of their own with EXO's MAMA winning 6 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs. Check their magnificent performances of Bad Romance and Lazenca Save us in King of Kings and Unwritten Legend too. Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (ex-research chemist, rock vocalist with soprano head voice falsetto), Cho MinGyu (classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (musical actor, 159th King of the Masked Singers, emotion convincer good at R&B, Pop).
