When I was on the dance team I’m high school we had big sisters/little sisters, the 2nd year and up members would pick a first year member and they would be big/lil sisters (kinda like Lilia’s team) we would get each other gifts for like first day of practice/school/first game/etc. and the booster club would make us/get us gifts for competition ❤️ I loved it! Also: Addie did really good in that first class! ❤️ she’ll be on that level in no time!

Question, are the children choosing from a list that the school teacher provided? Or was it anyone in the world with was inspirational....? Because when our school did it they chose from a list and the school library had the books and mind you I live in a rural county but a larger school system that is all rural. We have 3 cities in our system and the next large city is an hour away. A number of smaller ones in between. Did you ask the public library if they can get books from other branches or did they actually have nothing in their whole system? Sorry I was a media specialist/IT coordinator /teacher for 6 years during my early teaching career before switching to a classroom teacher.
