ඉතින් ඉස්සරහට ඔස්ට්‍රේලියාවට එන්න ඉන්න අය එක්ක මේ දේවල් බෙදා ගන්න තමයි මම මේ චැනල් එක පටන් ගත්තේ.

Here in SL we have a masters level course MA TESL referred as Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language now at U of J'pura and OUSL. But it does not include any teaching practice session as required by AITSL. But the NCOE ( Vidyapeeta ) Diploma in Teaching has one year internship. I have my National Diploma in Teaching, BA in English, BEd. in English Language Teaching, Master of Arts in TESL along with 17 years of teaching experience. What do you think about my profile according to your level of expertise. I am much interested to follow a Master of Teaching at AUS. I am not in a position to bear the course fee. Any chance of applying for a scholarship ? or what are your personal suggestions. Eagerly waiting to hear from you.

Graduate teachers are comparatively less in Sri Lanka. Most are participants in Teacher Training Colleges like in Bolawalana, Maharagama. These institutions offer a full time teaching experience unparalleled to any others. They are the cream of teachers in SL, compared to fresh graduates who have hardly any experience in teaching other than their subject knowledge. Further, how about completing the AMI Diploma (2 years) followed by a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (1 year) and an additional 1 year in Bachelor in Special Needs Education. Is the 4 year's acceptable in this manner. Kindly respond.
