I hate Romeo. Juliet was never a fave but in this, Juliet is best. I always loved Bonnie and Clyde's story more than Romeo and Juliet. Which is odd cuz I usually like fiction rather than nonfiction, but in this case the fiction fell short. I honestly would've preferred seeing Bonnie and Clyde versus Thelma and Louise. Overall winners? Bonnie and Clyde. Best solo punches award? Juliet.
@jace87063 жыл бұрын
i personally don't see why they are overall winners. Their last RAP BATTLE line I could remember was literally " Please Romeo, make her stop, MAKE HER STOOOP!!" and after that... Well, you don't win a rap battle by firing a gun. To me, Juliet won them all (Even Romeo) on her own
@clwilliams92763 жыл бұрын
@@jace8706 @Jace eh, I think Bonnie had it in the bag. Clyde just followed her lead which is y they got the overall win. But Juliet definitely had the best bars. But it's a team battle so u can't just say Juliet won the whole thing. Which is y she got the award for best solo punches while Bonnie n Clyde got the ultimate win. If Romeo hadn't been so whinny, they would've won cuz of Juliet. But he took their team down. I never liked Romeo anyway (not in shakespeare's story either), cuz it's never actually said how old he is so it's possible he could've been an adult while Juliet was just a 13 yr old (that's clearly stated). I take that story as more of a cautionary tale than a star crossed lovers story. Even tho Romeo and Juliet are apparently the "original star crossed lovers". Some ppl like to say Romeo's probably around 16 or 17 yrs old. Others say early to mid 20s. I personally believe the second because her other "love interest" in the story is more than twice her age. It would make sense both given that and the time period when young girls were more often married to older men. The main reason I never really liked it. Much prefer his other works. Anyway, I've gone into that a bit too much. Back on topic, Juliet would've won if it was her against Clyde. She would've won if it was her against Romeo, and it would've been closer to a tie if it was her against Bonnie only. Tho I think she still would've won in the end. But again, Romeo drags the whole battle down so Bonnie and Clyde take the win.

@@clwilliams9276 i cant give a character or team a win just because I dislike the other character, that's not judging a rap battle. the studio didn't say that Tarantino could only direct one of the movies. Tarantino decided he only wanted to direct one of the movies. From the very beginning, he's only wanted a limited number of films that are written and directed by himself. And as I mentioned, Reservoir Dogs, True Romance, and Natural Born Killers were all written with the intent of being the first of his ten film library. Now, I wouldn't doubt that early in his career, a studio head may have told him to pick which film he wanted to do, and based on the strength of that we'll see where we go in the future, so I'm sure it's a combination of the two stories we've heard

Juliet brought it. To be fair to Romeo about the sword vs gun thing, guns weren't much of a thing in his time, very very rarely did anyone have one.
