L Obi you too, I’m both a student and I have a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Minor in English. You right they can talk their butts off but keep them talking in a safe and fun environment with a fun lecture and they’ll love your class. I don’t know maybe you should do a questionnaire to see how they feel about school and your class and you could implement something to make them come and want to learn. Like the quote says: You’ll always remember the good teachers. By the way what do you teach? 😌

Miss Avoidance, Mrs. I Need Another Break, and Miss I Need More Rest were my favorite kinds of teachers because as long as you were quiet and didn't cause trouble they didn't care what you did. You could be reading a goosebumps book or playing a gameboy on silent as long as you weren't making any noise or bothering anyone
