When I was 12 I had a national exam it's so important the military cant fly planes across the country and citizens are not allowed to honk when they are near the school . So since it's so important my form teacher who teaches English and math stayed back with us from 6am to 6pm we studied and revised even during the school holidays it was tiring but we managed to score well and I'm still thankful for her effort

We ALWAYS carry our work home as teachers because it's impossible to prepare for classes, correct course work : books, projects, and papers and any extra-curricular activities that get thrown our way. We're people who get seriously underpaid for our jobs. So, no. We need to have breaks as often as possible so we can do our jobs properly. Besides, if we don't take care of ourselves, how can we take care of anything or anyone else?

Literally my old science teacher. Everyday after lunch, she would just take out her lunch and start eating. And the school lunch wasn’t even that much to eat. Like- woman- YOU TRYING TO MAKE US MORE HUNGRY OR WHAT? as a retail worker. 30 minutes never feels like a enough time to decompress. you have to eat fast to get everything in but you also didn't get to relax on your break so it didn't really feel like a break. I loved one one job that gave me an hour

We have a 30 minute lunch at my high school. It sucks because it literally takes 10 minutes to even get there, and another 5 to get through the long-ass lunch line. And they always dismiss you early. So we have like 10 minutes to shove food down our throat and run to our next class.

OMG so one time, we had a substitute, and lunch was over so per usual I was the first to get back to the classroom. And so, I came to the classroom, and to my surprise, the door was unlocked and I was able to push it open! And the substitute just looked at me so shocked, jaw dropped, and was like, “That was LUNCH??” Because the lunches here are a little short, so I have to hurry up and shovel all my food in my mouth quick.
