As a teacher, although not american, i'm appalled at this. What the hell... How is it that you have this sort of people teaching?
@Themissinformer10 жыл бұрын
Our education system is terrible. Teachers Unions make it nearly impossible to fire bad teachers, and instead of actually addressing issues with education, our government just throws money at it.
@costa20010 жыл бұрын
Stephen Juliano I had heard you americans making that sort of complaints about how your public system is broken, but this is a whole new level. I expect these people to be an exception or the kids don't have a chance.
@Themissinformer10 жыл бұрын
costa200 I'm sure these are the exception. Most of the issues stem from the approach to teaching, curricula, and bureaucracy.
@garysanders609110 жыл бұрын
costa200 This isn't common at all.. If you look at enough people at any career there will be some bad people.. But this isn't any more common here (I'd imagine) than any other country.
@karatome111710 жыл бұрын
the problem with our school system is once a teacher has been teaching for a certain amount of time, getting them fired becomes nearly impossible, but either way you shouldn't base your whole opinion of americas teachers off of 2 of them, i guarantee i can find 2 equally horrible teachers in your country

How does a judge not know how a bondsman works? The bail was $30,000. So she paid a bondsman $3,000 and he put up the other $27,000. Then when the case was resolved the bondsman got back the whole $30,000 ($27,000 of which was his to begin with and the other $3,000 was profit).

i believe the defendant 100% on the claim she made about the plaintiff partying it up right next to her -- she just never got caught. like the defendant said, why would they be friends if she were sober? sober people don't hang around meth heads. one major step in recovery is being truthful and she had no problem admitting everything that she did wrong and the way she impacted others with her drug use. good for her for pulling her life back together. that other woman needs a reality check. i can't believe the judge didn't boot her daughter out sooner.

+Cursed UchihaClan It's actually fairly easy to follow. What made it confusing was the lack of punctuation in the subtitles. If it makes it easier, here is how it should have been typed: (The person speaking in the recording is Twila) As she (referring to Amanda) stated here (probably pointing at a police report), "[Twila] agreed to pay [Amanda] back..." I never spoke to Amanda. When I was arrested (inaudible) a girl was leaving, and I said, "Can you remember a number to call and say tell her what happened?" She called up, the next thing I knew I was getting bailed out. I never agreed to pay her back.
@RhythmBulzara8 жыл бұрын
I actually understood it the first time. Twila said that Amanda stated in the report that she agreed to pay her back, but then she says she never spoke to her therefore it wasn't true and she never did agree to pay it back.

Best way to lose a friend is to loan them money. If you must, then consider it a gift (but don't tell them). If they pay it back great! If not, it was a gift anyway.

She is pathetic, and clearly in denial. Nobody would hang with a meth user if they weren't doing it themselves. Much respect to the defendant for being honest and getting sober.

That is one hell of a story to tell for the rest of your life isn't it? "ya dude I had my teacher arrested right in front of us, man! I guess she was a meth head..." XD
@twilacoverdalebatiedixon79215 жыл бұрын
E Bolha it was awful. My students loved me so much they tried to fight the cops and formed somewhat of a barricade to try to keep them from taking me. In spite of this terrible time in my life I know I made a difference and I truly love my students. I am still in touch with many of my students I taught. I began teaching in 1988 until I took a wrong turn in 2005. I now have my masters in psychology so I am still working with people trying to make a difference in our world.

Why would you want your own child to hear this? Such a shame....but, this is better than Judge Joe Brown. But, if these ladies have got off meth and are clean, my hats off to them. Addiction is something that does take your soul, destroys you and its hard to come back from - I know personally. 3 years clean from opiates due to being addicted to my narcotic pain medications for years and yes, I am using Suboxone to help and it does wonders for the pain as well as the Lyrica - to any addict out there - you can be clean, you have to want it. If you need help, check out In The Rooms website - a great recovery website for addicts and for those who have been clean for years

Eric Wells thank you. I am still clean. Unfortunately Daryl passed away in 2010 five months after our daughter was born. Amanda, is still a severe alcoholic. Victoria, her daughter is doing well.

Big time SHAME on that mother for allowing her THIRTEEN year old daughter to hear all of that. One very important rule parents need to live by is "YOU DO NOT INVOLVE YOUR CHILDREN IN ADULT SITUATIONS, PERIOD"!!

Suing a drug addict for bail money - $3,000. Countersuing a drug addict for Christmas decorations - $3,000. Bringing in your barely-teenage daughter to court to hear mom’s meth history - PRICELESS

I know this is really late, but I have to side with Twila on this one. I don't normally take sides on cases like these when it comes to addicts, but Twila was open and honest about her addiction, spoke about how she was clean, revoked her teaching license and tried to better her life. the other one thought bringing her child to court would up her chances of winning. you're supposed to be honest in court. shame on the both of them, but props to Twila for being honest, brutally honest, about her addiction.
