I worked for the NMUSD for 34 years. I was suspended and fired because the new director Leona Olson made a big deal out of the fact that a Newport Harbor H.S. Girl called me a liar. To Leona, anytime that a female student criticizes a male teacher, than the teacher must be the bad guy. Jack Cusick gave me no help when he said things like: "I have to consider the comfort of the girl." when deciding that I should be excluded from Newport Harbor. It would take me a year to find out that the lie that the girl specified was a lie I never told. She thought that I had accused her of leaving class without permission and that never happened! So, the only rat that I've ever seen at Newport Harbor was a rat wearing a bow tie and his name was Jack Cusick.

Some old buildings laid untouched for years for renovations and many classes were held in portables. Maybe those older constructions have holes.

This is the same High School that caused me to lose my job. I enjoyed working there and got along very well with the students. After 34 years with the district, I was suddenly suspended without pay because a female student called me a liar. Eventually I was fired because I made a few district administrators mad when I complained to the Super. and the Board. It took a year for me to find out that what the girl had thought I had said something(to get her in trouble) that was never said! By that time, I had been suspended and fired for irrational and insane reasons which had no connection to reality.

Is this new school built on an old city dump? What is the draw. It’s cause and effect. Rats are drawn and live on the waste of people. They are a pestilence upon mankind. I’d put my money on an old dump site.
