Thanks again. Teaching writing can be tricky. Every teacher has to find a system and workflow that works for them and their students.

I have a question, what happens if the kid actually doest have any problems with writing, but what he hears is that there's a problem, and that's the real problem for him.

I think as a teacher I wouldn’t ever say to a child that they have a problem with anything. I would say we are all working on something. Even professional writers strive to improve. Hope I understood your question.

@@TeachersMakingTheBasicsFun Yes actually its a great answer. I know how difficult being a teacher is...(I am an Architect but I admire your profession) I just wonder that a kid might take directions literarily and may not understand that some times the teacher is referring to all students at the same time,...some kids won't say what they think and that could cause some confusion in their reflexion time ... And the worst could happen if they hear that they must research for answers to build their knowledge, some could research for a problem... I know this sounds complex and maybe a little dumb, but there are so many factors outside the class ...Again I know how complex this can be and admire all the skills and hard work of teachers. I love your videos I have learned a lot even for my self as an adult.

I think the best lessons are when a teacher can present a general proficiency but then take time with individual or small groups of students to talk with them about how the whole group instruction applies to them. Sometimes a student is beyond the the expectations of most of the class. In that case the teacher can do a little one on one with that student and go deeper into the skill so the student is challenged. For example if you are working on a project that is too easy you might ask the more advanced student to add more detail to their writing or write from a different point of view. Often times if a student is advanced just giving them a choice about how they want to level up their writing is an amazing approach. Often they know exactly what they want or need help with. Great questions and insights. Thanks for asking.
