Thank you for these Office tutorials you make, especially the Excel ones. In a couple of days I went from knowing nothing about Excel to having a solid grasp on at least the basics. I've avoided Office software because it always seemed too complicated but your tutorials make it very approachable.

Great video. If you insert as an attachment you can still access it on a different computer, it'll just be a different save file if you edit it. I always insert it as an attachment as I use it as a class notebook for my senior classes and so it is a reference tool rather than something I want to edit myself on different computers.

You talked about linking things within OneNote to OneDrive to be on the cloud. I thought OneNote was already on the cloud. Could you clarify where the info in OneNote resides -- in computer hard drive or MS Cloud? Are you relating to linking a file in OneDrive so it is accessiable in OneNote? If so that I understand. I assume many things can be created and kept as various files within the structure of OneDrive in File Explorer but OneNote manages and more functions and structure than File Explorer. Thanks for your input.

Your video is excellent I wonder if you could help please.. I use onenote for Windows 10 quite a lot. However, there is something that is bothering me. What is annoying is that as I write on a page (using a tablet) and as I keep going down the page my fonts get smaller and smaller together with the square boxes( ruler lines) I have chosen. I ve tried to find out how to stop this and to keep the consistency of the fonts but in vain. I have googled endlessly but with no answers so far. Hope my question makes sense. Can you help, please?. Thnx

There are 2 important features that OneNote for Windows 10 doesn't seen have. Sorting the notebooks and sections alphabetically or by date. The other is displaying sections horizontally to create more room for pages

I like the " ? " question option in onenote, but it is only one type of question. Is there any way to create an mcq rather than open ended question? I usually add the PowerPoint slides on the onenote but unfortunately it usually uploaded in huge size. I kept selecting each slide to size it down because there is no option to select all then size it down. I'm wondering if there is a way to set certain size frame for the uploaded ppt slides. Or any other solution that will help me to keep importing ppt slides in a reasonable size. Is there a way to connect between similar information across notebooks ? As if i'm mentioning something from another section or another notebook! How to get a list of plug ins or adds-in for onenote?

Hello, I have difficulty creating a page with a section. In only one section when I try to add a new page to a section, instead of creating a blank page, it duplicates one particular existing page. I deleted that existing page and and tried to add a blank page but OneNote still adds the deleted page in place of blank page. This happens only in section.

I have a question for you and anyone that would like to chime in. I work for a government entity and we have to search for documents when a public records request come in. Prior to OneNote, I'd store files on a server and I'd use the search function of Windows File Explorer (a simple keyword and all of the files that have the keyword would appear). Today, when I place the files into a OneNote notebook, as an attachment (not using the "insert printout" option), keyword searches will not work (I hope I'm wrong). As it stands now, I have to activate each notebook and click each and every attached/embedded file individually. Is there anything you can point to that will educate me on how to get similar search method, similar to the File Explorer keyword search approach?

Maybe this is Level 8 LOL, but... I recently imported everything from Evernote into OneNote... all the files appear as web links (.url) in OneDrive under Documents as a folder called "OneNote Notebooks." When I open one of those folders, it opens up nicely in OneNote. But if I go thru OneNote, including using a mobile phone, I can only access a few folders, and some are missing data. Very confusing, and I have no idea how to correct this so everything is synced and viewable in OneNote (I use Office 365)

I have onenote for windows 10 open and I can't get rid of the page that says :ONE NOTE FOR ALL OF YOUR NOTES" Then there's a 2 minute video and below that the number 1. that says takes notes anywhere on the page and then there's a number 2. that says GET OIRGANIZED etc etc up until number 4. How do I get rid of that page so that I can get on with the program. I don't see that page on any of the training videos and nobody says how to get rid of it.

They take out "SCREEN CAPTURE / RECORTE DE PANTALLA" it was the best tool! What a silly thing to do. Now, I have to screen shot the pdf image and then back in note one go to add picture or whatever, too many steps for just a picture. If they wanted to improve it, they could have added a record video screen or something. Microsoft needs to hire new people (with creativity).
