My schools don’t play music during cleaning time only during lunch. But making a mix tape is a good idea I will look into. Thanks for the suggestion.

My pleasure! No music during cleaning time? I don't know if I mentioned it but I did have schools that didn't do that. Definitely a nice plus if they do in my opinion. What would you put on your mix tape?

You made a big difference in that school's cleaning time

I hope so. Also, I'm glad I went with anime melodies and not death metal. Lol

@@MyRadicalKanjiWorld You could have went with babymetal

Interesting choice. Makes me want to ask you how you know about Babymetal. I know Zach in Japan did a few videos with their music a while back. It may be relevant to this video but I didn't mention it but when I taught middle school where the class size was 20-30 kids a class, the Japanese teachers of English (JTEs) would always start the first 5 minutes with a song. Night and day difference depending on the teacher. The young JTE I worked with who was 25 would always have the kids sing songs from One Direction or Taylor Swift (or "I don't want to miss a thing" from Armageddon . The other JTE was a woman in her 40s or 50s and she would have the students sing current Disney/Pixar songs (like "remember me" or some song from Zootopia). Often, though, she would have them sing the Beatles. And what's hilarious is that some Beatles songs are sexually suggestive so when I first heard the song and looked at the lyrics I'm thinking "this is clearly about sex" and then I see all these middle schoolers just doing their best to try and sing English with the hidden meanings in the song being completely lost on them...thankfully. If you ever visit Japan and go into a bar that has karaoke, most older Japanese people will recognize a Beatles song when they hear one.

@@MyRadicalKanjiWorld I know babymetal because I follow someone who loves babymetal. And I listen to some of their songs and they are pretty catchy. Funny how the kids are singing to inappropriate music. haha

How do you like your new job? I do hope it's great for you

Lol. The answer to that question is a long story. The short version is that I'm not doing what I was hired to do and so, while the money is great, I'm just doing the best I can given the situation.

I can't imagine that ever happening in US without parents threatening to the school
@MyRadicalKanjiWorld2 жыл бұрын
Right? There would AT LEAST be one set of parents threatening the school. Having been through the American school system and looking at it then and now and seeing morbidly obese 5 year olds and their parents who throw temper tantrums if the school makes P.E. a mandatory class...and depending on where you go if you don't use someone's preferred pronouns you might face disciplinary action...well parents going crazy over a mixed tape wouldn't surprise me one bit.
