Nice, solid introductory treatment of this subject matter. Simple, helpful discussion of basic exegesis. His discussion of Spurgeon's views of meditating deeply on the Scripture as the first step and just observing the text is alone worth the time of the short video. Discussion of context of passage, surrounding passages, and book, and then in the unity of the whole Bible is so sound. Scripture interprets scripture. Thank you so much...I like the way the Calvary Chapel Expounds the word line upon line as well, they dig into the text instead of just reading a verse and taking scripture out of context.
