I should add I have a master's degree in teaching English as a second language So there is a fairly significant linguistic background that people like you and I have through these experiences that unfortunately the average person simply does not have access to and thus they do not have the tool sets necessary to genuinely approach linguistic material

I might also add that anyone with the Holy Spirit can be taught and they don't need a linguistic background or a degree at top institution. The best wisdom isn't of this world and I have a Masters in Education and it means zilch to God.

The King James Bible has a built-in Dictionary shown forth in the Law of First Mention. So the first time a word appears in the Bible it carries that meaning throughout the Bible. For instance, the word, "honest," first appears in the N.T. in, Luke 8:15, "But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience." So we see here in context the word, honest, is directly in association with hearing, and keeping the word of God, and should bring forth fruit. So a truly "honest" Christian will hear and keep the word of God and be a fruit bearer that is evident to all.

its gud to a certain extent bt this will limit the move of the holyspirit becoz one would rely much on logic than the holyspirit

Pee who can be against me the Holy Spirit will illuminate the mind to see and accept the text, that is not limiting the work of the Holy Spirit, it is relying on Him. Diligent studies is God honoring as it is inexhaustible and saturates the individual with biblical truth.

What biblical example of exegesis can you cite regarding the 'science' (man's observations, control, control, initiative)that is not sin? What does the science and art of exegesis have to do with faith? Theurgy or white magic is yet an abomination of Satan's contrivance and his special agent the name sake of hermenuetics. Brilliant logic and reason that leads to spiritual damnation. Acts 14.
