Jonathan has been known to say something like “you can’t scream forever”. Lots of artists get their emotions out in a few albums and it’s brilliant. And then they don’t have anything to fuel that anymore. And that’s ok.

JD was actually sexually assaulted by his babysitter who was a woman. Both his mother and his father didn't beileve him when he told them. He was also brutally abused by his step-mother and was relentlessly bullied in both Middle School and High School. Just to to clear some things up for yall!

11:20 Originally on the vhs "Who Then Now?" there is footage of Jon Davis recording Kill You and it cuts between clips of the other bandmates explaining the way he sings and how the sometimes cry listening to him track vocals. The easiest way to find it these days is from the "Deuce" DVD and the vhs is included as bonus footage. That's the keyword for KZbin. [Edit] 12:27 Fun Fact: That's KoRn recreating the beat from Lick a Shot by Cypress Hill.

Funny story from Rock am Ring ‘08: I’m extremely nearsighted. The “Blind” intro dropped and my headband threw my glasses off into the crowd…………………….. ……….. …….. …… …. .. . I was blind……………. ………… …… … .. . **AT THE END OF THE SONG A RANDOM GERMAN METALHEAD WALKED UP TO ME AND HANDED ME MY GLASSES.** 🤯

I saw Korn open for Marilyn Manson, and Danzig, in late ‘94, at the Fargo Auditorium, Fargo, North Dakota. Maybe 2500 people. About a year after their first album. I’ve seen Korn several times over the many years, and many, many other concerts. ‘94 Korn was the best show I’ve EVER seen. 30 years ago, and I remember it like yesterday. Unforgettable

I remember watching Headbangers Ball (Europe) and see Robb Flynn from Machine Head getting all excited about this band. This was the first video I saw. They sounded new and innovative. The week after that I saw them opening for Primus. I was one of four guys moshing in the pit while everyone else just gazed at them with their mouths open. A year later every band, even in my hometown, sounded and looked like them. Can’t beat the original.

That headbanger ball piece I remember well. Robb saying “this is what we are listening to all the time right now”! Saw Korn first on a Dutch festival. Half filled b-stage because everybody was at the type o-negative gig at the alpha stage. Everybody actually at the Korn gig was 100% invested!

One reason KoRn wore a lot of Adidas was that they were endorsement contract. In 1999, they switched to Puma.

I’m pretty sure they tried to get an endorsement with adidas and adidas said “no we only sponsor sports” and at that point to took a pony endorsement. They wore adidas only because they liked it. That’s why now, 20 years later, it’s a big deal that they finally got an endorsement from adidas. They just put out a line with them.

Hey, guy who complained about the dreadlocks...is that your natural BLONDE hair color, genius? Quit appropriating other people's natural looks. Also, vikings wore dreadlocks (and asians, and polynesians) thousands of years before they were adopted by any African or Jamaican cultures. Little history lesson since you kids don't get that kind of thing in school anymore.
