Hi Richard We are using all EastGen Bulls If your familiar with them. I have used ranger Red. I have a red cow confirmed to that bull. Should be born later summer. No heifers from ranger red yet.

Enjoyed this. Good job on learning to drive the tractor and hay bind. You'll be spending hours out there before too long. Field definitely looks wet. Hopefully you are able to get the rest of fields done Eddy - it's been cool and rainy here for 4 days now. I have been wondering how you get the first time heifer's used to being milked by the robot....I now have a good idea. How many days do you have to run them through before they get with the program? Thanks for sharing that. Great job on using the milk to feed calves - I like that. Great video!

The heifers usually take about a week, of running them through 3 x a day before they get it. Sometimes 10 days. We got the hay cut and Haylage done. Stay tuned for the next video!
