I just came across this video, and I'm still listening to it whist typing this message. I want to know a couple of things. 1. How many hours do you work in a day? 2. Are co-teachers Korean? 3. Do you have an option of saying where you'd like to be placed? 4. Are you required to come up with your own curriculum or are you working from the books they provide you? I'm not sure if you have addressed these questions before in your other videos, but I hope you can answer them.

Great questions, thank you. 1. We have a 22 hour work week. When broken down, each class is 40 minutes long. The number of classes you conduct per day could range from a minimum of 3- 5 classes per day, depending on the size of your school. Fewer students in the school means fewer classes. I usually start teaching from 9AM and done by 2PM. After that it’s free time where I get to plan my lessons for the next day’s classes until I knock off at 16:30. 2. Yes all co teachers are Korean, but most can converse in English. 3. If you’re with EPIK you can get placed wherever they see fit for you, you can decide on the area you would like to stay at but sometimes you do not get that nor do you choose your own apartment, if you decide to look for your own apartment and rent costs more than what the school is meant to pay, you have to pay the balance out of your own pocket. 4. No, you use all textbooks provided to you but you are required to come up with additional material such as PowerPoints and interactive games.
