So many negative comments from self righteous people. This man can reach people that didn't grow up in church, would never listen to contemporary Christian music, have never opened a Bible, came from drug infested communities or broken homes. Some of us may disagree on methods of salvation, but the truth is God will send people like Brian into the muck to pull the lost out of their sin. Brian may not be a scholar with his theology, but none of us were when we were first saved. Are some of you upset that a young person may hear this and open a Bible and come to know the Lord? Why would this upset you? Yeshua didn't hang out with teachers of the law or the righteous, he hung out with the forgotten and the lost.

what's unfortunate is negativity like this is what will turn believers away. Spencer Chamberlain of Underoath renounced his faith, and has said on record "If I were still a Christian I would probably be dead." The negativity like this that we see in the Christian community causes more unnecessary problems and, like you alluded to, we don't know the Lord's plan when it comes to how one of his followers witness to others.

Those people are why I wanted nothing to do with God. They're not real Christians. If you're considering Jesus and you see those comments, please bypass them. Real Christians (and they do exist) are full of love, joy and peace - the fruits of the Spirit! They would never bash someone, who obviously knows and loves Jesus, over petty theology differences. We want people to know God's love for them, just as he's shown us.

I used to listen to Korn and Slipknot and almost nothing else, all while hating my life, wanting to die, hating people, hating myself.. over a decade later I return to Korn via Brian Welch's testimony, and it helps me along my journey of transforming my life for God and Jesus Christ. I got to shake this mans hand and look into his eyes after he first converted to his Christian walk. His band were able to attend a battle of the bands that the Christian rock group I was the Drummer in were able to play in where Brian’s group was the headliner.. I was backstage as Brian was taking the stage and just as he came to me, his body guard stepped away from him, which allowed me to walk right up to him. He looked at me, and I looked at him and we just automatically give each other the hand shake and the little hug and at about the same time we both smiled and said “God Bless You Brother”!!!! We parted ways and he went on stage and I went around the stage to watch him.. So many kids were so into watching just to see how he acted and presented himself. By the way, this took place in Ashland, Kentucky !!!! I’ll always remember this day and he’ll always hold a special place in my heart because he come from a back ground similar to mine.. I seen so much of myself in him as far as the drugs, sin, loving music, long hair, being kinda an outcast!! IT JUST SHOWS HOW GODS LOVE YOU NO MATTER WHAT SHAPE, WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE, OR ANY REASON!!! HE LOVES YOU!! COME TO HIM!!!

He said himself he would never go back to Korn unless God said so or that it was okay. Korn isn't really evil. They're not devil worshippers. Alot of their music was dark because it's simply real stories of real pain from their personal lives. None of them do drugs anymore either. The ironic thing is after rejoining, he did start down the rabbit hole again with alcohol, but he realized what was happening and cut it off. It's a huge accomplishment, having been a former addict, and being able to cut that off before it got worse. That's something that isn't human alone, but God had His hand in it.

This video popped up in my suggested vids, out of the blue. I hadn't been watching anything lately that would cause some "algorithm" to put it there. It came at exactly the right time. I have been born again for years, but my faith had been slipped and my walk has been straying. I reacted to something stupid and little tonight (a spilled soda) with WAY more anger than was called for. My Mr Hyde came fully to the surface. I prayed for KORN's salvation when they toured with POD as many others were praying also. When I read Brian's testimony for the first time my tears were flowing down my face as I praised the Lord for answered prayers. I have yet to purchase Brian's book "Save Me from Myself." We ALL fall short of the glory of God. For any negative people remember this scripture: 1 CORINTHIANS 1:25-31 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. 26 Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Yes. I used to talk to Jesus on my way to college. I would freak out!!! I went back to school at 38 after getting sober and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done so I made Jesus be my passenger on the way to school lol and we rode together like that for many mornings

this is gold..... i was a fan of korn as a teen. at the age of 23 i came to faith after being addict and homeless, that was in 2010..... i trew away all my cd's and stopped listening to worldly music............ i didnt knew Korn members were already reborn before me.... amazing to see these things. blessings from holland! edit; wow i am amazed the things brian is telling, he prayed and then something happend, like it could not be coincidence... that is exactly how God works in my life to! i never heard a voice or saw a ghost, but God let things happen in my life like people suddenly walking around the corner just after i looked behind to test my faith, if i would not have looked behind i missed them.... crazy things but always things that amazed me big time and strenghtened my faith in Christ. another quick example, i could not visit a church teaching, but i really didnt want to miss it so i prayed to God teach it to me on another way then if You want me to learn it........... and then my pastor called and asked me to pick up the books/prints for that teaching in the printing shop xD so i could learn everything of the teaching without even visiting it lol (oh boy there was once a much bigger thing than this........... the church where i was saved, in a christian home, didnt let me go to the bible classes, the school for leaders, because they thought i was not ready for it........i was clean from drugs, but i had a lot of anger problems (which turned out to be caused by the western version of MSG in my food, but i didnt knew this back then)........ so then this one day i was very tired so i tried to hide from the people and climbed into a small cellar in the building to take a nap there lol................. guess what........ i found boxes full with the books for the school for leader classes xD hahahahhahaha i learned everything how to be a leader without them even knowing about it, ofcourse i told them, and then finally they let me into the classes but i already knew everything lmao my brain had soaked up every little step from how to save a soul to discipleship in casting out demons and healing the sick )

This is such an amazing thing. I've been a Christian my whole life. I was born into it. My parents got a divorce. Then got into a bad marriage and addicted to pain killers or what was available. Then came back to God. Because he is never lost only we are. Without God we are lost no matter what blinders the devil has on us.

I've been a fan of Korn for years. I can remember when Head left to follow Christ , I was in and out of church. Had grown up in the church as a kid but never really began my off and on walk with Christ until I was 17. The last year had really brought me back to Him and Brian's Journey has helped a lot He's a really great example of God's love and blessings. It takes extraordinary circumstances to be about extraordinary results and God is Great and works In mysterious ways and Brian's higher purpose is to help so many people. Folks will see this and come to Him. I have been away from church or God and I would finally go back to church and as he said, the whole sermon was directed to me. This has been directed to me 2 years after it has been recorded. The Lord works in so many ways. Amen!

I've watched thousands of sermons in my life. This is among the top 3 as far as realness and true love for Christ. What an amazing guy. I liked Korn's first album when it first came out, (parents took it away, lol) but never really got into them after that, so never kept up with their story. Just found out about this, and it's fantastic. God bless this great man. Now I'm going to listen to some Korn for old times sake. Check out their new stuff.

Brian , you are so beautiful . This is a wonderful testimony . God has called me to sing , dance , and write , and that's what I do . I don't do this professionally , but , I do it unto Jesus , and I'm having the time of my life . I've been doing this for 10 1/2 years , now , and my born again day is 8/21/08 . I'm really looking forward to celebrating this beautiful anniversary with Jesus . You are absolutely right . There is nothing like the high I receive from the Holy Spirit . I say to Jesus , very often , "I live in Your Word , I live in Your presence , and I live in Your anointing , all the days of my life". I live in the truth of His Word . I am a living , walking miracle to the goodness and faithfulness of God . There is something in my body that looks and feels like it shouldn't be there , but , I don't have any fear or worry about that , because Jesus assures me , continuously , and says to me often , "I am your Healer and your Great Physician". It's a very crystal clear statement from Him , all the time . I just trust Him , depend on Him , and rely on Him for absolutely everything in my life . I trust Him to preserve my life and sustain it . It has looked and felt like something that shouldn't be in my body for 28 months , now . Despite this , I walk fast , everywhere I go , and take buses , and I dance a lot , 3 times a week , for a few hours . I dance very energetically , and very well . I just play my favorite radio station , 97.7 FM , The River , Classic Rock , Monte Rio , Santa Rosa , which is hosted by Alice Cooper , from 6 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. , on the weeknights , in CA , or I listen to a couple of CDs . I sing rock music songs almost every Friday . I've been doing this for 2 years and 8 months , now . It's very rewarding and exhilarating , because , I am anointed to sing , dance , and write for Jesus . I sing Heart , Led Zeppelin , Alice in Chains , Evanescence , Stevie Nicks , Pat Benatar , Tom Petty , and Adele . On 8/23/19 , I'm planning on singing "Sweet Child O' Mine", by Guns N' Roses , and "Angel", by Aerosmith . I continuously give God glory and honor for giving me the ability to sing , dance , and write . Yes , it's rock music , and really rocking hard , rock music , but , you know that Jesus is fully , completely , and vibrantly , and amazingly , working in my life . I say "Wow !!!!", about this so much of the time , because of how Jesus works in my life , I can't even begin to count how many times that I say it , continuously . It really seems like every time I turn around , Jesus is doing something that surprises , amazes , and delights me !!! I'm 51 years old , and for 9 years , I didn't listen to any rock music at all , just Christian rock and pop , you know ? Then , in February of 2018 , things started to change . Something made me think of the rock music that I used to really love and enjoy . I don't know what it was . In March 2018 , I started singing rock music songs . My first song was "Stop Draggin" My Heart Around", by Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty . It was great . It felt as natural to me as breathing , to sing rock music , after not singing or listening to anything but Christian rock and pop for 9 years . It was amazing and so rewarding . Jesus said to me that March day , "My Spirit fully and vibrantly lives in you , and music lives in your soul and your spirit as well". Brian , when you said , that you become young , again , with Jesus , and "my youth is renewed" , Jesus said to me , at that moment , "This is you , My "Beautiful Rose", this is you !!!!" That is one of the names that He calls me . I'm alive only because of Jesus , and I am fully , completely , vibrantly alive in Him , and forever shall I be , because Jesus is my Strength and my Song !!!! Psalm 118:14 Thank You , Jesus !!!!
