After a successful medical career, I found myself going through a tough divorce and the family courts. I was raised in the church, but never really embraced Scripture. I was down and out living in my medical office when I read his book. I renewed my vows to Christ, was fully baptized, and served The Lord for several years. Fast forward a decade. Now, I was back on my feet and living large. I had all the luxuries of life and had abandoned my obedience to the Lord. And right in the middle of that opulent lifestyle, something changed. The Holy Spirit moved in me, and for the last 2+ years, I’ve been immersed in the Bible several hours a day. I’ve never been closer to our Lord. Oh, what a feeling it is….to be sanctified. Just talk to Jesus yourself. Israelites had to do blood sacrifices to cover their sins, but Jesus Christ was a perfect, sinless blood sacrifice. He suffered the consequences of your sin so that you don't have to. But He also reconciled us back to God. This means that you can talk to God yourself, you don't need a middle man. You can talk to Him anywhere , anytime, for any reason, in any way you choose. You have that authority bc the Creator is your Father. And unbelievablely, He so desperately wants to hear from YOU. You talk to any & every person you come across, but you just keep ur Heavenly Father hanging, without a word. Ever. Whether you talk to Him silently in ur mind, or aloud, He hears EVERYTHING you say. He is so interested in every single little aspect of your life, He loves you SO much. If you're honest with Him then He can help you. Even if it means you're so angry that you go off , at least ur honest, He responds to honesty. He knows we are made of dirt. He knows we try everything under the sun to gain satisfaction. But He still challenged you, He said "Try ME" Nothing in this corrupt world can ever satisfy your heart. You'll feel pleasure , temporarily, but itbfades, so u live ur life chasing it. U don't have to. The Creator of the entire Universe sees YOU! He has His eye on you 24/7. Talk to Him honestly, open your heart to Him. He won't let you down if your sincere 🤍

Dear Brother,i just found your message.I was going to last a message on this thread but decided to read the messages...I am. guitarist and musician..I started playing guitar in 1979.Over the years I was attacked spiritually and mentally...I smoked weed, took drugs and drank.I was heading down a dark path towards destruction even though I was raised as a catholic and carried a crucifix around with me in my guitar case...I still went down a path of abusing myself.I met a person whilst walking through a park with my flute and I started doing meditation which showed me the root cause of my mental state and addiction to sex, drugs, drink which was a real Molotov cocktail of poison...I meditated before I did a course and was always connected spiritually but I began to do real deep meditation and observed my cravings etc which caused suffering....I ended up having a break down and was at the edge of killing myself.I could sense forces wanted me to do it....But then I was taken up into a higher realm where I saw God as a sphere shifting shape.I was calling for help...This dream then changed my outlook and I knew that I had a purpose here on earth in a battle with the dark forces....I was hearing people say about putting on the armour of God but then in another dream I was shown that my spirit was powerful and I was being shown God in myself as that spirit...The dream was absolutely amazing and made me feel invisible.I woke up feeling totally empowered by the great spirit or Holy Spirit....[Same thing]....I had real spiritually connections to The hopi...I had another dream where I was in the tomb seeing Christ rise as a bright light...Since I was a child I have been psychic and seen spirits etc and even proved to people....I was walking a path of trials which were mental where I found people not understanding that spirit and also ridiculing it...I watched the film Mel Gibson made and saw how Herod mocked Christ and all the court were laughing at christ...People laughing a shouting abuse to have him Crusified...I found a few years ago a you which stated that Christ has risen in us.From what I studied and learned the the christ consciousness is the heart sutra in Tibetan. It is Compassion and love....So I would like to say that you are the spirit of god and christ has risen within you and so we take up our cross every day in life and we are also mocked and ridiculed by those people who do not have that awareness in thier hearts of the creator great spirit...I saw the earthed formed because that spirit showed me..Just as I was shown the celestial sphere from which we all come from....I was exactly where you are and crying is a good thing brother its part of healing..So do not give up the world still has many genuine people who really care for all life. The Hopi pray for all beings...I hope and pray that the great spirit will fill you up with great power and joy so that you like me overcome that which wants to pull you down...Soar like and eagle my friend because that power of the great spirit is more powerful in you than your depression...it is true that your spirit was with the great spirit before you were born...Peace be with you always and may the creator bless you with much joy and spirit in these times...Do not fear because all will come to pass away...In the past all empires were destroyed and the spirit moved the earth so do not worry about what the liars say because in the beginning there was no lie just as in the end there will be no lie...Walk the path of peace in line with the creators path and live in harmony with earth...Peace brother

So glad you guys are embracing Brian. I am a rocker saved by grace, also with the realization that there are pockets of people under the tent of Christianity who are harsh judges, they seem to misunderstand grace while at the same time singing that grace is amazing. Some of these people have declared Head to be false. I know in my faith and in prayer that Brian changed drastically. I have been a Korn fan since their first album, I could tell right away that Head was saved, he changed. Bless you guys. His decision to return to the band has brought many to Christ. If anyone reading this feels judgemental, try prayer and maybe review passages of Scripture which declare that while we were sinners God loved us so much that He sacrificed Himself through His Son, to obliterate our sins forever. God's LOVE is the key and permeates through all of us who have answered the call of salvation through belief in Him. Where sin abounded, grace flooded. God's strength is made perfect in our weakness. We are all members of the same body, so the eyes should never tell the ears they are not needed because they can't see. We all need each other, to pray for each other and praise God together.

the true beauty of Brians conversion to Christianity is both insightful and inspiring, as the love and faith of Christ has the supernatural power to heal and change our most worst and wretched lives, saving us from the darkest of the most dark places we fail and fall so deep into the abyss.

I understand where you're coming from, but there's also an outreach aspect you could be missing out on. ie. How many less lives would Jesus have reached if he only spent his time with "good" people/believers vs. the ones he was with?

Ya know, I love worship music, and some contemporary Christian music. But I LOVE progressive rock, always have. I think it’s the most beautiful music. I believe God gave all these musicians this talent, and there’s nothing wrong with enjoying it. As long as the lyrics are not anti-God of course.

Imagine how many people Christian metal bands, like Stryper, have helped lead to Christ. The lord always used unconventional people when and where He needs them most. These bands take the message to people who would never step foot in a church on their own, etc. Joel Osteen could never reach these people, Stryper and Living Sacrifice can ❤️

People say rock or any music that isn’t like church music is bad or against Christ or can make you wonder but I can listen to the misfits, slayer.. any of that sort. It doesn’t separate me from god I actually think thankyou Jesus for letting me see this world and hear these beautiful voices and be touched by these lyrics that tho not about you.. make me feel happy or even sad, able to feel emotions and understand emotions. Now call me a bad Christian for still liking rock and punk but .. every step I take I try not to do something horrible and bad but is it actually sinful to be WHO I AM? Like am I a bad Christian just because I still like rock? Am I not “truly saved” because I still like gothic stuff?

Going back to the band with his faith has great potential to spread the word of Christ!! 💞 People in the dark are in desperate need of a little light. And sometimes all it takes is a small seed planted or gesture made to give someone a life line. I know, I’ve been in the dark. And when you are someone who has been in the dark you know you have to do what you can to try to help others who are still there.

@@RockyTop85 Hi there! We think it's really dependent upon where God has called him. If God called Brian to go be the Christian in the band, then that's where he needs to be. Head is a legend for this. Laid it all out and told his truth, and lead so many to God. This is proof the lord can use anyone, just pray, stay faithful, and remain diligent. This guys testimony has inspired me. I grew up in church just never fit in or seemed to live up to other peoples standards. At about 17-18 I rebelled. It always seems as if the “wrong” crowd is the most accepting so I went that way wholeheartedly drugs alcohol, witchcraft even became a not very famous metal musician. I still feel like I get looked down on because of the length of my hair etc. in most churches. It’s become very apparent to me that Christ died for all and wants a personal relationship with all. Not just those that have the perfect haircut or those that wear a 3 piece suit or even those that attend church twice on Sunday and once on Wednesday. Church shouldn’t be a club of rich snobs…hmmmm isn’t that called a Country Club anyway?

I'm so happy for Brian! I love hearing other people's testimonies! The most surprising thing about giving my life to God was how He actually made me into a new person. There was a time when I was living a very sinful life that I didn't think I could give up, and didn't want to give it up, but after giving my life to Christ, I woke up one day and all of the sinful things I thought I loved, turned me off completely! There wasn't even any temptation anymore. For the first time, I could see clearly. If life isn't working for you, if you feel lost, alone, if you're hurting, depressed, or physically ill, just reach out and call His name. Like Brian said, He is always close by, eager to embrace you and fill you with His grace and love. You will never regret it! He IS The Great Counselor and Physician! ✝💗🙏 Thank you Lord for all of your many blessings!
