"washing the skin under your hair" was wording that helped me as a kid because i used to shampoo the ends and call it a day. Be a grease pit in 12hrs

It's very hard to spread so it's easy to use too much but that makes it hard to rinse out. Buy cheap shampoo which is less concentrated. But if the hole is too big, they may dump out more than they meant to. Maybe dilute it even more with distilled water and put it in a spray bottle?
