the reason why it was the same when you used a multishot bow was because arrows fired from them start as one then two more appear next to it and then another two next to them. in other words, the arrow needs time to duplicate itself in multishot bows.

Overloading? Like menu overloading or the bow glitch? If it is menu overloading, just pick up your bows. If it is the bow glitch, try to pull out your bow and everything should be fine.

btw, the way you were farming bomb arrows is a bit inefficient. It's better to not run all over the place but just stick to one area and shuffle left to right, otherwise the books shoot the bomb arrows in random directions and they roll off the cliff.

I believe if you have a certain amount of arrows the shops/merchants stop selling them, although it would be a really good way to get like 30-60 at a time
