I like it! Also cool how when using it as a boat, the fans consume less energy. You can see the battery consumption go up when you pull up out of the water around the five minute mark.

Real Tears of the Kingdom pros use the right leg depo rail to make a 1-fan hoverbike. The version where the rail is applied vertically on the back has some pretty good handling. Of course, this all depends on what your view is on glitches. You need to glitch out the game in order to get the right-leg depo rail in the first place. But, most people who do TotK aircraft design consider that rail to be an absolutely essential design piece in any decent build. Another popular option is the rail bi-plain, which sandwiches 8 rails in a giant grill pattern then builds a bi-plain on top of that, and a cage to contain 2 un-attached fans. Yes, it is important that the fans be un-attached in the bi-plain design. That... does kinda make it harder to make with auto-build.

It should be mentioned that if you're one of many people who like to use the headlights on your vehicles, they're useless, since they consume power and add weight. Just throw a giant brightbloom seed, or attach one to an arrow, and stick it to your vehicle if you want to explore dark places.

Good feedback, the headlights are so cool but that's a good option if you prefer performance.

The standard hoverbike works perfectly for everything, but the speed this six fan ultimate version gives you is very appealing. As for recharging the battery, Recall was what I used most. Just drop for a half-second, Recall yourself back up, drop again and repeat until you're full.

Crazy design and looks pretty cool! I prefer a trike configuration myself. 2 fans rear one forward just like the hoverbike. This gives you a space and stability for a wayward Korok to transport to their friend by attaching them between the rear fans. Still plenty of power, good efficiency, and good speed while being small enough to land on small ledges without it rolling away as you hunt Korok seeds. For traversal only I think I would prefer your design though!

I have yet to need a flying device that needs more than 3 fans except when I helped the music troupe. 3 fans work fine for korok transport. I'm still playing fresh tho. 120hrs in still feeling fresh

Great question. I feel like when you pull back, you go up really fast as you can see in the video. I haven't tried going to that specific island, if you build this and test that let me know.

Phew... I saw the title, and got worried for a second there that maybe somebody already designed something like my "Project Apache" Then you said an hour or something and I was like hahahaha, ok. My journey to create a functionally effective Armored Flying War Machine has undergone countless phases and dozens of prototypes. Zonai Experiments are a huge percentage of how I play this game, and emulating the functionality of an Attack Helicopter has become the centralized goal of everything I do with it. The Apache Dragonfett is my latest model, and every single time I deploy it is magnificent. Storming through hoards of enemies, and I've almost gotten a design which is capable of defeating a Gleeok. I will reclaim the bridge over Lake Hylia, but I need to tweak the Flight Dynamics a little bit. Certain older models didn't have weapons or armor yet, but defined my ideal flight patterns for as close as you can get to a Helicopter. It's certainly not as fast as yours, but I'm not trying to make something for traversal. I want a Warship. I want Air Superiority. I want something that theoretically ANYONE could jump right into, and obliterate their goes, and I'm getting close.

This flight vehicle is a lot more stable, in flight, than the hover bike. I can actually enjoy flying all over Hyrule without having to adjust the controller the entire time.

No thank you. I'll stick with my Klingon bird of prey. I've had a video out about that a long time ago and it's still what I consider to be the perfect flying machine. On my video I show a series of tests that I put all my flying machines through. The one that you made will not pass all of my tests. Nice video though. The two machines that pass all of my tests I called the Klingon Bird of Prey, and the Romulan Scorpion. I have videos for both.
