Teaching my Friend How to Drift his 700hp Supercharged Mustang GT!!!!

My best friend Quan has a supercharged Mustang GT that we picked up last year. This beast of a car is pushing 700crank HP or 650whp. The car has Steeda's full suspension package, so the car feels planted. But Quan's challenge is to tame the beast when drifting. The car is an animal in the dry so of course it will be rowdy in wet conditions. In this video I try to coach Quan on the beginner maneuvers of drifting. Can he control 700hp of Fury in wet conditions?

You should have kept him on the drift circles before he got into initiating on entry or trying to mangi. But I can help you fix both of that. What he needs to do on the drifting is he needs to. It's not the fact that he's got too much power. That's not the issue. He's not fast enough on the countersteer or with the way he's letting the rear and inertia drift and it's just completely looping him so he needs to have better throttle control and just play with it, especially high horsepower in the wet. If he would have stayed a little bit more on throttle and stop getting backing all the way off of it, he'd maintain better and then on entry he has failure for commitment. If he commits it'll send but he also needs to be earlier and let the drift drag out and then as the car preloads he needs to throw the wheel before the car even starts to rotate the other way

Yesssir appreciate it man I’ll show him this. I did plan on having him only do donuts to gain real throttle control and balance it with the steering but he wanted to try an entry a lil bit before we had to go. Let em play around with it. But like u said definitely got to get him to learn the core skills of drifting🔥🔥🔥💪🏾
